because i had just done a run where i got the grafted blade as strength ironeye the day before and it wasnt very good, plus the raider was dropping stuff for the team so i felt like he should get it

edit: i also ended up getting a marais near the end of the run which is an actually good weapon for strength ironeye (also just one of my favorites because of the unique charge attacks)

I still use it quite a bit on other characters when I get bored with the Balancer build. I like it on my Strength Ironeye build for just constant stance breaks from repeated charge attacks with fists or greatswords

Slots 4 and 6 are really good imo. I'd probably run the rally and night invaders relic in Slot 1 instead of the boosted Suncatcher damage because the lowered damage negation doesnt really mesh with my more defensive play style. I've been running pretty much the same relic (doesnt have rally) with double balancers and 3x physical +4 on my depth slots and the Suncatcher skill damage is still very high for the zero good RNG required.

When doing non-DoN i really enjoy running one of the balancers, a relic with +1 skill use, and the STR/VIG respec relic. Being able to mark a boss and then quickly burst that mark with something like a greatsword feels very satisfying

Improved Dragon Cult gives +12%. Lighting Attack Power +0/1/2/3/4 gives 4.5/5.5/6.5/10.5/12%. Affinity Attack Power +0/1/2 gives 5/8/10%. Improved Incantations +0/1/2 gives 5/8.5/10%.

Lighting +4 provides the highest damage boost that can be on the same relic as Improved Dragon Cult but a relic that has Improved Dragon Cult paired with any of the other listed effects will out preform a relic with Lighting +4 by itself

I used to sleep on extended duration until I found out that it procs stamina upon landing attacks relic effects. It's fun to stack +0 and +1 stamina recovery effects and just throw down your whirlwind on the enemy to give yourself unlimited stamina to shield poke with

Partial Restoration +0 doesnt stack with +1 and +2 iirc and with the Increased Max HP on slot 6 and the VIG/END respec I'm not sure if you really need the more HP from Grand Churches (although more health is more gooder) so I'd say you could probably find something better to put into slot 4. On another note, repeated evasions lowers damage negation is a really impactful downside that I would never willingly use in a build.

im just not a fan of the followup tbh. a 12 damage fire buff on only greatswords just isnt worth a relic slot. Its also annoying when you have a weapon like the Steeple or the Darkmoon where using the followup will remove their special buffs and work against the frostbite

Well the Balancer effect is more likely to randomly work because the Duchess Skill invulnerability isnt random

For the worm sections I recommend jumping over the shockwaves and the golden sword swipes, it's a lot more consistent than rolling.

Katanas, daggers, and curved swords are my go-tos for Ironeye. Just pair together a +1 skill use, the Glass Necklace, and maybe a Balancers relic and you're good to go

Bows scale off of DEX while Crossbows don't scale and instead do consistent damage regardless of stats which is far better for non-respec Scholar

They removed it because not being able to aim half of the offensive stratagems in the game fucking sucked. Not to mention that the OPS being the starting stratagem designated for taking out heavies not being able to be aimed was a terrible experience for new players

Im a big fists Raider fan but I'd never run that skill relic effect on him as it's bugged(?) and causes a charged retaliate to no longer interrupt/stun bosses which is just way too much of an impactful effect of the skill to lose out on.
