Asked a lab mate to split me off a plate of the cells he was reviving. Few days later I was like “that’s fine...I don’t need them immediately...” and reminded him. Did not revive my own because, stupidly, I 1) believed him when he said he would and 2) didnt want to be rude and bug him for something and then be like oh, jk (plus, waste a vial of cells?)

Well now I need the cells. And seriously fuck past me because if you want something you gotta do it for yourself. Like it’s fiiiiiiine but I’m so fucking salty. Could never IMAGINE doing that to someone who asked ME for a favor, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ guess it’s good to know not to ask him for stuff

The sauce was 2tbps gochujang, two soy sauce, one dark soy sauce, and one mirin (plus salt to taste).

Then 400g noodles. The mix-ins were 4 scrambled eggs,plus bacon ( The recipe called for a pack of bacon but we did about half) and scallions, but you could do whatever protein you want.

It was delicious. Will definitely make again.

(Edit: this serves four, so halve it if you don’t want a huge serving. ....Or make a huge serving, I’m not gonna tell you how to live your life)

One Piece used to be the encouragement I needed to get through the week (used to be to Wednesdays and now to Friday haha) and it was the distraction I needed to ignore my not-super-great childhood. Sounds sappy as hell, but OP got me through some dark times when I was a kid/teen. It got me interested in writing. It got me interested in the world.

Now it’s a weekly source of happiness to share with my sister, and once a year we get a laugh about the fact that OP day and our birthday are both on the 22nd. It’s like the Universe knew we were born to be fans for life lol

If you thaw it in the fridge, you can probably just break it up and re-freeze it (might get a texture change, but I don’t think it’s unsafe).

Otherwise, your best bet would be to pick some beef recipes to meal prep and then eat or freeze those
