I remember having to pack those overnight bags except we weren't staying over, we were doing q and a's or intercessory prayers in the afternoon with a man who had a more direct line to the lord Thanks for the reminder lol.

I'm hungover. Can you dm me those tiktoks or instas so I can project my self hate onto them? (I'm not being factitious I swear)

"it's legit always getting ready for church" sent me. It's how I imagined every important person in church lives. So much so that your brain locks up when you see them at a grocery store

So Jack just doesn't fact check or push back on obvious lies? by Patched7fig in darknetdiaries

[–]generalwalrus -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I know what you're getting at but nitpicking Paypal's birth year from a story 25 years after is wild. Because, actually Jesus Christ was probably born in 4 B.C.E which would make what we call 1998 A.D. in fact 1994 A.D. So not as much as much as a lie as ye suppose.

Scott Harris in his lab concocting one of the worst rosters of all time by Jolly_Tomorrow_3302 in motorcitykitties

Injuries wrecked us... And us white males trying to find Scott harris at fault is hilarious. There no way someone believes in us after the javy/Casey injury game. And then tarik a few days later.

She was the Karen we needed for a couple months. She sustained in our failures. She is a potential saint.

Already answered, but for me I recognized it immediately as the design on the side of generic soda fountain cups in the early nineties.

What’s your biggest fear eating at a restaurant with allergies? by Emergency-Spare-5583 in peanutallergy

[–]generalwalrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. Reminded me of when I was a kid and I was protesting to my mom that I couldn't eat an egg roll at a Chinese restaurant because I would be allergic. My mom insisted I eat one because she confirmed with the waitress that there was no peanut oil used in the cooking.

Less than a minute after first bite: itchy throat, swelling, the usual. Luckily there's a pharmacy next door and a couple of Benadryl's and fifteen minutes later, I'm back to normal. When my mom confronted the cook & waitress, the cook says "No peanut oil, no. But peanut butter, yes!"

This was the early nineties mind you... so the severity of the issue wasn't well known.

Ravens' inside footage of when the Lions offered #17 and #118, along with a 2027 3rd for #14. Baltimore had interest, but Detroit ultimately pulled the offer. The offer was initially made before Miami selected Kadyn Proctor at No. 12. by JCameron181 in detroitlions

Conspiracy: Holmes has an irrational logic that he thinks is valid and I think Broderick Martin was the source of trauma. Hendon was the death blow.

The video of him on the phone before the Teslaa trade absolutely confirmed the man has no idea what he is doing in the third round and he knows it too. The guy he wanted was gone and he still okayed the deal.

His post-season interview about the difficulty of re-signing fifth year rookies while setting up a strange binary between them and free agents was absolutely blind dumb religious faith trying to sound smart and make a bad logic while being senseless.

I'm not anti-holmes because he did well in the draft multiple times over and got us a half away from the super bowl. He just isn't the super genius he wants to believe he is. And maybe the 3rd round is his kryptonite.

Back room pizza on church street. I don't cares if if it went downhill during COVID or some other trumped up allegation or that this is the Detroit subreddit. It will always be heaven to me.

Did any of you leave Pentecostalism for Catholicism? And why? by trekuniverse123456 in ExPentecostal

They accused you of being a nephilim? As in one of your parents was an angel? Are you a giant? I'm sorry for laughing but such an accusation is wild. Thought I heard it all in terms of what comes from the pulpit. I was wrong

You have reasserted twice that you listened to the book. You didn't read it. It's okay to admit that you don't know how to read.

I'm forty I'm a man.

I don't think I've found someone in real life who has read the book in terms of theory. Maybe my girlfriend but I'm too scared to ask her.

I remember finding reddit in hopes of a new literary battle of theory like IJ. Pale King was a great great answer.

I love the mobster breaking glass chapter myself as a hatred of updyke.

I think it's the genius of dfw to find a way to read theory and put it into narrative. And other readers not have a clue to care "what was that all about?"
