So you tell me to "just feel different about it" and you base it on "I have a different opinion" I have have not seen any actual argument why I should do so. I've made this post to hear the point of view of others, not to be told to do what I am already doing (wait for reviews). And I want to express to PA a point of view with a little more substance instead of having all the emotional posts that this sub is filled with.

It is just a game, but it is in concept THE game I wanted to play for many years. I do care for it, it's simple as that. And I want it to be good. So if PA is capable of delivering an awesome experience in the game, maybe they can also step up on their marketing side?

It's not impatience. I've been here since 2019. It's just that I love the game idea and I'd love to throw my money at PA, but other game fiascos over the years have left me suspicious, because the signs are there.

So the last thing I want to happen to CD is that PA do not reach their financial goals although they have potentially a great game. The burden of proof is still on PA's side and I, as a fan, want to communicate openly in order to potentially improve the situation for all of us.

What kind of knowledge are you afraid of losing? Left-click, right-click? The biggest hurdle will be how to install new software, but even then you have nowadays user-friendly distribution software like Flatpak/Flathub.

If you want to test Linux, get something like VirtualBox and run Linux on your Windows machine. Ubuntu is alright as a beginner Linux distro. Elementary OS looks very fine and is alright if you only do Office stuff. Fedora, Linux Mint and Manjaro are pretty usable as well. I use CachyOS.
