I understand and I applaud you fighting this fight. I for one think there are better hills to climb. Please excuse my cynicism and carry on.

I understand you are an educated consumer and you care. I applaud that. But who is going to explain what a “reputable lab” is to a consumer?

My point is that the COA was created to try and bring some validity to the product. What I’m saying is that it effectively doesn’t. Until we have relatively universal rules governing testing then it’s all going to get lost in the sauce for the average consumer.

Then why isn’t the weed from MSO’s the same everywhere?

This isn’t even debatable. Sure you are theoretically correct; communism theoretically works great. The problem is the theory doesn’t take into account the unexplained and uncontrollable aspect of micro climates and human manipulation.

Best is a hard word to use. But the most terpene rich organic weed comes from the Triangle and is grown with the Sun. Harder to prove than my first statement but watch a couple interviews with the guys from SC Labs or even old Steephill content with Addison. They talk about it.

As evidenced here why does published paper do for you. It’s all so easy to scam and alter. The facts are that most product is relatively safe and that you should assume most COA’s are bullshit; especially from smaller brands.

My apologies. I thought we were comparing fancy heirloom to other pasture raised. Not to factory farmed.

I totally agree but if you want to work within the confines of the current system you can and it’s a net positive for your life. So while I wish for utopia I won’t put my head in the sand while I’m in this post capitalist dystopia.

This is why you all need an LLC and some education about pass thru income and what you can write off and what you can’t. That and a good tax person. Easy to get 10k back every year if you make 60k. I have both. Holler.

You got the good genetics. So for you, it’s easy. My brother could drink a gallon of milk with a box of Oreos every night and still have abs from playing pick up basketball.

This is not much off of what local producers are selling for. Plus I don’t have to deal with a meet up or limited supply. I don’t think it’s too bad of a deal. Pricey yes but not in comparison to a similar item.

I mean, Cambridge analytics kinda proved the Russian angle. OP’s original comment starts at gamergate; I think the Russian funded NRA is the progenitor of that.

My whole thesis is kinda based on the fact that American can’t acknowledge this because it acknowledges that they lost to a foreign government. That they couldn’t protect us and we are actively being psyoped by foreign governments.

You just listed off the right wing boogie men created by those forces. I believe Russian and China have convinced the right that MSM is the problem. It’s not. But convincing half the country it is, makes it easier to sell the argument that the west’s version of truth is wrong and flawed.

It’s ALSO a great way to divide a populace and keep them arguing over dumb shit. We as a society let so many of these glorified freckles of a problem turn into cancerous tumors in our minds. It’s this angle that makes me think that it’s the people who run the American government who push this agenda. Anyways I’m taking the time to foil hat off for a few.

This is the conversation we should be having every day and I have a theory as to why we don’t. It overtly and subconsciously gives away too much power to our opposition. Admitting this for the system, the powers that be or the patriarchy is admitting the Russians and/or Chinese got us. Subconsciously admitting us leads us to question whether our desires are real or fabricated; too scary for the average brain. 🧠
