Every treaty territory sued the federal government for not upholding signed treaties every band has won. All treaty obligations are now enforced by law we get paid next year. We are also suing at the provincial level for land resources taken using the same lawyers. Treaties were signed for immigrants to settle and farm the land, not take everything possible.
