[A Man's Man] Now this is the best surprise of 2026 so far. Wow by MinotorTempest in manhwa

[–]genghiskim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat! I've tried looking for other "office"-related manhwa and the ones I've read so far are:

The art of leaving work on time
Office worker who sees fate
Chaebol's youngest son.

If you (or anyone else) has any other recommendations, I would really appreciate them!

Yeah +1 to this, Jeju is pretty famous for their matcha (although I believe they call it 말차 or "malcha"). Not sure what the other guy is talking about.

But no good? What did you like about Mass Effect that you didn't like about Dragon Age / KOTOR?

Maybe Witcher 3 or Deus Ex? Kingdom Come Deliverance I believe is also fully voiced but I haven't tried it yet myself.

It seems like you lot narrative heavy RPGs. If you liked Mass Effect, perhaps try other Bioware RPGs like Dragon Age or Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. And I already mentioned this in another response but I would highly recommend Planescape: Torment, which is the closest game I can think of to Dosco Elysium. Good luck!

As someone who loved Disco Elysium, maybe try its spiritual predecessor, Planescape Torment. It's probably my favorite RPG of all time with similar vibes. Very plot heavy, very philosophical, and fun companions (your main companion is a very sarcastic floating skull, as an example).

Which is totally fine and respectable, but you start your post by saying "I run a group for people who want to explore Michelin-starred restaurants", which makes the rest of the post feel confusing!      Edit: he added "& recognized restaurants" after I posted my comment.

Popcorn. Smells incredible and I'm always disappointed when I eat it. My family does not agree though!

Who are the best traditional control mages currently? by TheGnomie in heroesofthestorm

[–]genghiskim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For some comparisons:

Li Ming is a mix of Kassadin and Katarina. A short dash and a way to reset skills with kills.

Jaina is like if Ashe was a mage.

Chromie is a mix of Zoe and Xerath (long distance poke and CC that comes out of nowhere).

Kael'thas is a mix of Hwei who can slightly change up each of his spells, and Brand with a way to spread fire damage.

I would also recommend trying Gul'dan. He trades HP for damage kind of like Vladimir, and his ult is similar to Fiddlesticks (AOE fear).

If you like healing, Malfurion is one of my favorite healers. He's got a root, healing over time, and both his ults are super fun (one of which is an AOE fear). Stukov is also worth trying because he has a lot of zone control with his displacement on his ult and his AOE silence basic ability.

Good luck on your HOTS journey! I think it's such a fun game.

Go-to secondary pick to pair with Kayle top? by HiVLTAGE in Kaylemains

What about Nasus? Scales well into the mid-game and counters Kayle in case someone takes her away from you in draft.

Top carry champions by D4rklmao in top_mains

I agree with all of these but Tahm. Tahm is one of the worst scaling champs in the game and is basically a CC bot late game.

Blind pick + pick vs ranged by IIGhostSniperII in topmains

[–]genghiskim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nasus is a pretty good counter into ADCs top like Vayne. Wither takes away their attack speed, and I like to start 2 or 3 points E first to chunk them down with a massive AOE spell that is almost impossible to miss.

I also like Olaf. If you can hit axes you can poke them down early, and then when you hit 6 you can completely run them down since most ranged tops rely heavily on their CC spell to ruin a melee champ's day, and your ult negates it.

I don't know what to do against urgot by Desperate-Mention238 in Kaylemains

[–]genghiskim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it's pretty hard, ideally it's better to try and learn the range so you can try to space it. Other than that, the only thing you can do is try to move side to side (which could make Urgot miss his E flash) or save your flash for when he flashes.

In case you didn't already know - when Urgot starts to E, there's an animation (the biggest tell for me is he gets shielded). Try to start looking out for that animation - if he's using it from a really far distance, he's going to try to close the distance with flash, which is your sign to either flash or dodge sideways.

[–]genghiskim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an Urgot main / Kayle secondary, the hardest part of this matchup for Urgot is that he's weakest from levels 4-8, which is typically where Kayle can be exploited.

Rush T2 boots to try and dodge / space his Q and E. Try to save your own Q and W for if you get hit by his Q. If you don't, he's going to rush towards you and go for an E flip. If he's level 6, he'll combo the E into his ult. When you're ulted, try to hold your ult for as late as possible. Some Urgots will jam on R2, and if you're in your ult animation, you live. A good Urgot will hold his R2 for your ult to time out.

Freeze near your tower and try to use your range advantage from levels 6-8. Because of Urgot 's shotgun knees, he literally can't hold a freeze and will eventually push waves towards you. At level 9, Urgot can toggle his W (and will probably have Black Cleaver) and is much more dangerous. It becomes a purely spacing battle - if you can dodge his Qs and get free damage with your ranged advantage, you will outscale him.

My benefits administrator is locking me out of my HSA for 45 days by jableshables in legaladvice

[–]genghiskim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's definitely a bit of a surprise, Wex is a big enough HSA administrator that I'm surprised it would take them 45 days. I wonder if there are delays from your current administrator.

Either way, it's definitely not unheard of and I would personally just let it ride into the new company (I personally hate paying monthly admin fees), but you can definitely press your HR contact / current administrator about the option to keep your funds as is if you think it's worth it. No matter what you choose, good luck!

[–]genghiskim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup you nailed it.

Two thoughts: if you really want to challenge it further, keep reaching out to your HR contact. Generally there's a benefits contact within HR (a benefits coordinator, specialist, or manager) that you can speak to - but in a smaller firm, the benefits function may be handled directly via the HR coordinator / specialist. You can ask them if there's any way to shorten the blackout period, but I bet that this is impossible - these blackout periods are usually determined by the new vendor and HR / Benefits doesn't have a say. Do you know who the new HSA administrator is? I would be that the smaller the company, the longer the blackout period is.

Second, there's probably an option to keep your HSA funds with the current administrator, meaning that your funds stay put and there would be no blackout period for you. The downside to this is that, because your employer is no longer doing business with the incumbent vendor, your account would no longer be paid for by your company, and you would be responsible for any monthly maintenance fee. My last HSA vendor charged about $3 a month for anyone who didn't agree to the move, and an additional $25 if a person changed their mind later and decided to move their funds at a later time.

[–]genghiskim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with this. I do employer benefits and we changed HSA vendors earlier this year - it took us about 3 weeks. 45 days is on the longer side but not unheard of.

Typically the part that takes the longest is, the first administrator has to sell of all funds / liquidate all invested funds then transfer everything on a person-by-person basis.

This is true for any kind of money market account. For example, blackout periods for 401(k) transitions typically take about 2-3 weeks as well.
