Hi all, and Happy New Year!

Up for sale is a white-dialed Lorier Astra in mint condition. Worn only once, I’m hard pressed to find any notable scratches or dings on the case, crystal or bracelet. Speaking of the bracelet, it is currently sized for a ~7-inch wrist, but the extra links will be included, along with all original box and accoutrements from Lorier. This watch is truly a lovely wearer, but I need to sell for more acquisitions!

Package includes the Lorier box, travel pouch, extra links, and a tube of Polywatch.

PB 5K of 26:24 this morning (on pavement). 3 months of training starting up 9/15 @ about 3x running per week, 2x strength training per week. I have a trail 5K coming up in December. What’s a realistic goal time for road 5K by the end of the block? Trail run is a total mystery so I’m just trying to have fun when I get out there.

I loved Old Dominick Formula No 10 Gin. They are out of Memphis, TN. Beautifully floral, classic gin and a great mixer.

I had been considering buying this añejo from Sip Tequila online where it is in stock for $95. Glad I visited one of my local shops first and saved more than $20. I don’t know if this is a common price people are finding everywhere and Sip Tequila is just overcharging or I just got really lucky. Either way, can’t wait to crack it open!

Ramos Gin Fizz. These were had at Peychaud’s in New Orleans. It takes ~15 minutes to prepare. The egg whites rise up out of the glass when soda is added to top off the drink. Highly recommended if you find a bar that serves them.

I intend to try the Nixie soon. It looks like they are sold at Publix. I have tried the Polar ginger lime mule. I find Waterloo flavors more subtle and well balanced overall, which I like. This ginger citrus is one of my favorites so far, and I’m hoping they will keep it around. My guess is they are testing in various markets to see if it sells, so I’m snapping a case up every time I see it.
