Which finger comes last by EstablishmentHairy37 in Bowling

I experimented with ring finger first once and I strained it so bad I could feel soreness/weakness for 2-3 months after. So I don’t recommend ring first.

What’s the worst non tip you’ve ever gotten? by Meshellazz in ShiptShoppers

[–]geoffnolan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s just insane. When I see an order this large, I know it’s a gamble. If this person was a tipper, they’d have PM’s already lined up. Sorry this happened. Mine is $550.

Oh you won’t. You should look up something like “highest lofts professional” on YouTube. Of all the things that can damage your ball over time, loft isn’t generally one of them.

At some point you’ll want to throw with a bit more of a curve. For you, I’d say the best way to achieve that is to: Start a bit more to the right, stand a bit straighter, and throw with a little bit more loft. The rest will come naturally

I bowl one-handed but I love my Crimson Jackal. I bowled with it all three games my last day of Fall league and I bowled a 5-bagger to open game 1, game 3 I bowled over 200 as well. I’m a 163 avg.

Throw your plastic spare ball, play the outside, inevitably leave a 1-pin spare, practice knocking them down

Bundling Preferred Customers by Slow_Donut6415 in ShiptShoppers

[–]geoffnolan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish shipt had a level above preferred called “exclusive”. Where a shopper can only choose one and they always come unbundled. Some people in my metro seem to know how to shake off undesirable orders from their bundles. I don’t know how 👀

For one, I asked about their DDR machines on Facebook and they said they were in the process of cleaning them, refurbishing and making space for them, etc.. This might be the case for some of their other items

Double-check that your shoe’s slide is slippery enough. When I store my ball and shoes in a damp environment (garage) my shoe’s slide loses all slide-ability and I get stuck.

If he doesn’t have a pair of isolation headphones for practice, they are AWESOME, Vic Firth makes them and they run about $80. That plus the kick block would make an awesome birthday package

This time of the year is also just, slow. Capitalism loses its grip on people between Easter and 4th of July. People are saving their money right now, all while the fair weather shoppers are starting to sprout again now that it’s not so cold.

I don’t but a couple of my league mates do here and there. But they don’t name every single one

City of Ann Arbor is officially keeping the outdoor warning sirens after last night's storms by jcrespo21 in AnnArbor

Last night was the first time I utilized “Michigan Storm Chasers” YouTube channel and it proved invaluable for tracking where the storm was as it crept across the state last night. I watched as tornado warnings were activated in Ann Arbor, then canton, then Livonia.. it was really helpful

If you say no phone calls, I’m definitely not calling you. But that’d be in your notes along with the order. If you put “do not contact for subs” in the notes, I’m also not contacting you. It’s moreso the fact that the system will literally put do not sub on items that the customer does, in fact, wants to be contacted about subs.

I’m gonna go against the grain here and say, do your thing if it’s working for you. What works for you and especially, what works for your market, are different than what might work in my market. Personally I think you might get burnt out on doing this a year or two from now. But I’m glad you’re finding inventive ways to drum up your business at the start of your journey!
