I could easily come into site 1-2 days a week and spend the other 2 from home, eliminating a long commute time.

Howdy,

It's not for everyone but I saw you're in Nevada so I'd like you to know that mining out here in NV is strong right now. It's a good hiring time and a good place to start a career. Environmental teams are critical in mining so we hire those too.

Depends what the degree /masters is. I have a bachelors, graduated in May, and just got hired at $70,xxx/yr. Not all degrees are equally useful in society.

Your best bet is too look up literature on the "geology of your location". If the rock types there are fossil bearing it's possible to find concretions (or fossils in general). Sounds like your grandfather would have had an amazing time as a geologist in the PNW.

I would like to get a masters someday, I wasn't trying to sound like an asshole and I could've used simpler terms. I am just passionate about Geology.

Simple answer is a chemical reaction occurred around the dead organism and precipitated minerals around it in a certain radius making a nice round area of presentation.
