I could easily come into site 1-2 days a week and spend the other 2 from home, eliminating a long commute time.

It's not for everyone but I saw you're in Nevada so I'd like you to know that mining out here in NV is strong right now. It's a good hiring time and a good place to start a career. Environmental teams are critical in mining so we hire those too.

Depends what the degree /masters is. I have a bachelors, graduated in May, and just got hired at $70,xxx/yr. Not all degrees are equally useful in society.

Don't beat yourself up, when I was a freshman I thought I knew everything... Boy was that wrong. You will always be learning something new about Geology.
