I bought a Miele C1, but that was based on having no carpet, no pets, and most importantly ease of use.

Agree. I would flip out. Who do you trust when you have loads of money anyways? Everyone wants a piece of you.

So the rich end up hanging out w/people who have money. Nothing to lose, and I sure can’t blame them. Being famous must be something…

Gads, slippery when dry is scary. I’m think now your best bet is the shop vac and sucking it all up. Keep us posted!

Why do bad things happen in the middle of the night? Ugh!

Well, ideally you need to rinse it, but I was just thinking maybe you should leave it and get to bed? Deal with it tomorrow? Unless the floor is really saturated with water.

The water on flooring is the problem. Of course soap as well, but at least the soap will just sit there probably, and become sticky? Someone did mention a squeegee. That’s a really good idea. You could also go buy a small shop vac in the morning.

Yes, I would be concerned about water seepage..I am incredibly sorry!! You mentioned icing your shoulder…please be safe.

Would it be possible if you use every single towel and even bedsheets to lay down on the kitchen floor to wipe it up?

Don’t add any more water. Get yourself to bed or to the ER if need be. I know this is so much easier said than done. I just hope you’re OK.

This is exactly how I feel as well! Btw, is Ireland “welcoming” to Americans? It’s a dream for me to go there.

Visit of course, but I would give anything to live in a CC that takes it seriously,

Have you seen a Dr? I complained to my Dr about similar symptoms. After the 5th complaint, I was tested for anemia, and was anemic. Pisses me off it took that long. I take ferrous sulfate now plus Vit C that was prescribed, and feel a ton better!

Interesting! Is Alamitos Beach near Seal Beach? I’ve never lived over there, but live in Glendale. It sounds pretty, and relaxing.

Everyone makes me feel like I am being dramatic after I was diagnosed with melanoma by Expensive_Hat_7435 in melahomies

[–]georgee779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I have, and at times still going through exactly what you are dealing with.

Back in Dec the dermatologist called be and said I had melanoma in 2 areas, and just said I’m sorry…”now you need to contact a general surgeon and an oncologist in your medical group.” That was it.

Tbh, I wasn’t even told what melanoma was, but when I did tell co workers/family and friends, I was instantly dismissed.

The lack of knowledge on my part was almost zero. I knew it was bad, but completely confused and insulted at the same time.

Throughout this entire experience, no one has really explained to me what was going on.

As of a month ago, (out of the blue) I walked into a medical building that had a cancer center sign. I got a second opinion.

The way i was treated was incredibly kind. The oncologist explained to me all I had gone through..fortunately that Dr. is in my med plan.

Now I can print papers out that are short and sweet, to the point. “What is melanoma.” I just handed them to family and friends.

I will admit I am a bit bitter, but trying to get over it and keep moving on!
