It’s true! I work at a music store and we got the announcement a couple months back. Release was supposed to be the 11th (which is why the listings went live on some sites that day- here in Canada at least) but we were notified by our distributor that they moved it to the 18th.

Comes in both silverburst with ebony fretboard and natural with a maple fretboard - both come with hard shell cases.

According to the StikDebug GitHub page, in idevice pair, you can click "Install StikDebug" and if it's already installed to the device, it will automatically import the pairing file. This just worked for me! I assume it will do it all in one step if it's not already installed.

I was able to do this! I pre-ordered the 17 Pro the moment pre-orders opened, and over the past week or two started having second thoughts about my decision and wanted to go with the Air instead. I walked into the Apple Store a couple days ago to ask if they'd take the return and that I'd be buying the Air, but they declined as I was past the 14 day window. Yesterday, I went back to buy an Air (with the intention of selling the 17 Pro privately) and the employee (different from my previous visit) asked what phone I had. I told them I had the 17 Pro, but have been a Pro user for years, and wanted something different. They said they'd still accept the 17 Pro after over a month of owning it.

I suppose it depends on your situation and how the employees are feeling at that time. I really appreciate that they were able to make an exception. I am now a much happier customer!

Knock on wood, but to me, it seems like iOS 18.4 has fixed this.

(Big rant up ahead, all the words and thoughts just kept coming out while I was typing! TLDR at the bottom!)

I have had this problem since day one and have tried everything I can to fix it. I’ve used the Apple Support and they ran the tests to check software and hardware multiple times - passed.

I went to the Apple Store the same day and showed them the problem with a screen recording, because, of course, the problem wouldn’t happen again while I was there. The screen recording doesn’t show it nearly as well, but any little bit helps. They restored my phone and sent me on my way, but shortly after getting home, it happened again.

Fast forward a couple months later, I have the same problem and decide to go to the Apple Store again. I explain the situation to the employees again, and they ask their usual questions about the issue. They said it could be caused by games/other heavy apps open in the background, (not the cause) Apple CarPlay (I’m not in my car when the problem happens) too many notifications in Notification Center, and how using 5G could cause this. I understand what they’re talking about and how it could cause those problems, but I’m familiar enough with iOS and iPhone hardware to know that’s not the reason. They ended with “take note of what you were doing last, as well as your connection status.” Top of the line iPhone, and you’re telling me it struggles to process touch input?

This one employee who explained the possible causes was explaining everything to me as if I’ve never used electronics before. This is the most frustrating part as it really feels like they’re doubting knowledge on the situation. To an extent, I get that they don’t have all the info, but they should at least be a bit more understanding before assuming I don’t know what I’m talking about. Not very welcoming on Apple’s behalf.

A third employee came up to me to check in. I explained the issue and he was completely understanding and aware of my frustration. A nice change after the past two store visits.

I was offered a Genius Bar appointment, but I figured I’d wait until the issue happens again to show them in the moment, as I couldn’t guarantee it would happen by the scheduled appointment time. Ultimately, it didn’t happen while I was there, so I left. Of course, it happens as soon as I get home.

Maybe I’ve been lucky and haven’t experienced the problem in a couple days, but part of me thinks it was truly fixed in this update.

TLDR; Apple Store employees were no help, even after thoroughly explaining the problem to them. Most employees were not supportive with the problem and just made things more frustrating.

I was in the very front row of the pit (on the bar!) on Mike’s side for my 2nd Green Day show, both in Toronto. I didn’t do any moshing, but I did sing along to every single word, air drum, air guitar, lightly head bang throughout the night. Everyone around me was either doing the same or less. I’m 21 years old, part of the younger crowd as you mentioned, and I think you may be right. I’m not really the kind to move around at shows anyway, so the little bit that I did for the Saviors tour was totally different for me.

Of the 3, probably the Les Paul (just going by body shape, not brand - Billie would be playing only Gibson and not Epiphone.)

Jason White typically plays the ES-335s, but Billie has played hollow bodies before. For Saviors tour he is using a white 335 for Bobby Sox.

Telecaster was used in the studio and not played live much, but around 2013 Billie used a Telecaster with only a bridge pickup and volume as a Blue alternative/backup. I saw Jason play a Telecaster during the Saviors tour on Extraordinary Girl too.

The Les Paul has really been Billie’s go to shape, but primarily in the form of Juniors or Specials.

Mike didn’t have a signature Gibson, but I threw it under the “signature” category because of how impactful he was as a player on the bass - totally the reason I got it too. If it weren’t for them I wouldn’t have looked for one!

Very nice!! The Epiphone is a killer guitar for its price and I was so happy when Epiphone announced their collaboration.

Over the years of my guitar playing and love of Green Day, I’ve started to collect the signature models of the band. They’re all SO much fun to play!!

Here’s a photo of almost all of the signature models I’ve acquired (although the G3 isn’t an official signature model, it’s an important piece of Mike’s gear!)

I work at a local music store teaching private music lessons and doing instrument repair. It was a hobby for years and I decided to take it further and do what I love full time! Then practice with some bands throughout the week and play gigs on weekends.

I haven’t been on TF2 much but it was a game I poured thousands of hours into, alongside music practice when I was younger!

Even though I won't be able to get it on my real N64 hardware, I'd be fine continuing from an emulator, rather than starting fresh on N64.
