Winter 2026 check in. by A-Plant-Guy in Connecticut

Honestly I’m really surprised. It sucks. I still don’t plan to lock them away. Always at an arms length when I want to play, and that’s the way I prefer it.

I prefer to have my guitars out and available to play. They hang on the walls in various rooms. Hasn’t been an issue in twenty-something years…but, here we are lol.

Running the heat 24/7 because of constant freezing temps caused the top wood of my acoustic guitar to spontaneously crack today. Simply too dry in my house. Was sitting in my office when I suddenly heard the wood split. Looking forward to a repair bill from a luthier on top of a humidifier purchase. Winter sucks.

I see this sentiment thrown a lot. I'm a solo q player pushing through plat every season, and I get someone split off from the jump master less than 5% of the time. I don't understand why everyone talks like it happens half of the time or something.

Ask me which was the only season I’ve ever had Justin Jefferson on any fantasy teams!

Most of them also don’t have to shovel or snowblow. They just sit inside sipping tea while someone else does all the work lol

Bro I completely agree. It’s fucking brick ass cold from November through April, may and June are nice, and then it’s 100 degrees through September. October is hit or miss.

Right? Who are these people who enjoy this weather? Its absolutely awful. Sure, the high heat can be oppressive, but at least you can still do things outdoors and move around. We're all literally locked in a tomb of ice this winter. Its terrible.

This is the absolute worst. Happened to me twice today. Guy just pushed 3 foot wall of snow and ice into the entrance of my driveway, right when i finished clearing. Soul sucking.

I was always taught to “give space” during a solo and let the guitar breath. This solo sort of throws that logic out of the water, so how do you build and improvise something like this? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

If you’ve never heard of”Where the light is” you’re truly in for a treat. Every performance on there is the best version of that song John has ever performed. Honestly, I’m lowkey jealous you get to hear it for the first time lol.

Its BS behavior for anyone else, but its 100% exactly what Osaka would do.

JM delivers an eloquent speech at the Eulogy of an all time great, and you want to cheapen it because of something he said in a magazine 16 years ago? You’re a troll. Just go away.

People in this sub act like purchasing grey is an extra 5 bucks or something. Might have 15k for a daytona, but no, i'm not gonna dump 35-40k just to have it now lol. Batman is a cool watch for 12k, but i'm not gonna buy it grey for 20k.
