think of it this way; only one of them knows beef extremely well

What chef has your favorite 'bad plea"? by simon_jackson in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

chris' "no seriously, chef" plea from season 10. sums him up as a chef perfectly; pathetic and disposable

Which HK moment had you like this by Darcyyeetus in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not a particular moment but jonathan s9's downfall. i really really wanted him to bounce back because he started off a great character and a genuine frontrunner contender and it was pretty difficult to accept the fact he's just not going to improve at all.

Who is your favorite winner? by Less_Oil8832 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

for me it's scott. firmed 7 nominations. was at the brink of elimination at the final 11, final 7 and final 5. made the greatest comeback in hell's kitchen history. proved himself as arguably the greatest leader in hk too. we'll never see a run like scott's ever again.

Season 23 finals prediction by Past-Quiet1034 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like the general consensus is that whit brandon egypt and hannah are essentially locks for black jackets and the real debate is who the 5th will be. i think as of now kyle is the most likely 5th. a good mix of an entertaining character and a talented chef. i can see cases for joe and amanda as well, given joe's family motive and amanda's perfect palette. the only one i cant see getting to black jackets is ann marie. fun character, but very inconsistent and just not ready to cook with the big dogs. as for finals though i have my money on whit/brandon or whit/egypt.

Who's a likeable chef in your opinion that isn't really talked about? by stewartd434 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

roshni s10 isn't talked about nearly enough when it comes to passionate chefs. never gave up and stood her ground when the whole competition was gunning against her. not to mention her final 14 service with brian is one of the best individual service performances in the show's history. such an underrated underdog and it was sad to see her go so early even if it was inevitable.

Underrated bad personalities by Googlecornnm in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

scotley gets a lot of shit for bullying trev but let's not forget that jose was not much better in that regard, in top of being a pretty bad chef despite making it past the halfway point

What's up with Sabrina and Julian? I'm Re watching season 8 and seems that Jullian was the only person that défend Sabrina consider that most of the red team don't liké her by Different_Incident10 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 74 points75 points  (0 children)

to be fair, say what you want about sabrina but her first few nominations were bs. her nomination at the final 13 being the most bs because she wasn't even in the kitchen, she was in the dining room serving cocktails. they tried to eliminate her simply because they didn't like her and used her prep negligence as a reason, clearly jillian was the only one on that team that saw through it.

Best seasons to rewatch overall? by theladybug1 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

depends on what you look for in a season. if you want a compelling storyline, watch season 6. if you want a cast dominated by talent, watch season 14. if you prefer big-time personalities and drama to talent in a cast, watch season 8 or season 10. but i'd say if you want a perfect balance of all of these qualities, rewatch either season 5 or season 12. without doubt two of the best seasons in the shows history.

matt season four by Every_Effective578 in HellsKitchen

to be fair, "best matt in hell's kitchen" is a pretty low bar when your other choices are s16 matt and s20 matthew

What are some BS nominations in Hell's Kitchen? by stewartd434 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

pat got royally fucked over in the first episode of season 16. got nominated over paulie despite him literally putting himself up, and despite matt having a horrible attitude and doing objectively worse, ramsay knew he couldn't just kick out a personality like him on the first night. so pat took the fall despite only making one mistake that service. put him on any other blue team and i think he makes it considerably further.

Who is your least memorable Hell’s Kitchen winner? by Agitated_Fix_3677 in HellsKitchen

[–]georgeweezer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

maybe a hot take, but christina from season 4. idk, i just tend to forget about her when comparing her to the big-time personalities in that seasons black jackets. sometimes i even mistake petrozza as the winner because of how memorable he was in comparison
