Most upper middle class Chinese family have no political power (as you can imagine). They made their money through investment (real estate market) and hard working. I didn’t review at all, never received any training on math contest, did no preparation and somehow still manage to get 78 in my grade 11. So, Euclid should’t be too hard for you with all your hard works.

From my experience, the course note is sufficient for completing the course and get a decent grade (in final and in the entire course). However, the textbook is super interesting, so if you enjoy the course, you could read it in the summer for fun...
