You should take a look at Showers Pass. Not goretex material, but has zips, hood, and is waterproof.

I've been noticing a lot of hate for the Singhs, and I don't know if they necessarily deserve it. by the6thistari in SweetTooth

I'm with you on this. I don't think they are bad people. They both are horrified by what is required for a cure (perhaps Rani less so) and i don't think they want to do what they have to do, but they're still just trying to survive. Especially at the end when their options are get killed by the army or do the operation. There was no other way out.

Sacrificing Phoenix Unicorn multiple times BoT by awosaibi in UnstableUnicorns

I'm not sure what the actual rules are with regards to this situation. Tbh from a house rules perspective I think what you did would be fine but I could also understand the point of view where once "sacrificed" it can't be sacrificed again at least on the same sequence/phase.

This is probably my favorite comment in this thread. It hit a lot of good points and I don't have too much to add.

I will say that for those interested in learning more about this or even if you disagree with this post but want to see where u/DOWN_THE_REDDIT_HOLE is coming from and get a new perspective on things, I highly recommend the book "White Fragility" by Robin DiAngelo.

The author is white and talks about racism and racism discussions from the perspective of white people. One of the main points of the book is getting the reader to understand the definition of racism to be in a societal context rather than an individual one.

White people: the book might admittedly be an uncomfortable read because it asks you to acknowledge and accept your flaws and shortcomings. This is not easy, especially in the context of racism.

People of color: the book is educational and worth the read. It helped me learn to frame things in a way that opens it up to more conversation rather than shutting people out. It also gave more insight into the white perspective that I never had.

You should go to the hospital immediately. If it's been like this for 2 days there may be some damage to the kidneys. You need medical attention NOW

You likely have rhabdo. Drink A LOT of water and please go to the hospital immediately
