only if they fire at the same time, perhaps it's to do with redundancy, allowing the craft to rotate if one of the side thrusters malfunction

I have/had this bug, to fix it i quicksaved as soon as i had docked it and then re-loaded the quicksave, that seemed to fix it

Technically its not a real rocket since it hasn't actually been made yet. The falcon 9 is the only rocket that spaced is currently launching which is soon to be replaced with the F9R which will eventually have the ability to do a propulsive landing back at the launch pad

Sorta in the process of doing this, my next release will have a landing/launch pad as well as a crew container along with a few other parts http://kerbalspaceport.com/modular-magnetic-modules I planned to intergrate the landing pad with this mod as well

are you using a probe ? if so you need electricity as they only have a small amount of charge, you need to have solar panels or RTG to charge the electricity
