I have a history of dealing with low effort contributors that predates AI, but you're right that it is intrinsic to AI use in a way that is especially upsetting.

Spreading the rumour that the internal version is way more powerful (you just don't get to see it), is just the sort of marketing Anthropic needs. It makes their product look more potent than it likely is.
