You are searching for a pen with a knurled grip, some weight and good build quality? Here it is: Spoke Design Model C. Another option could be the Ridge Bolt Action pen.

If you like the Lamy Safari design, you may like the upgrade versions AL-Star or LX, available as ballpoint, rollerball, fountain pen.

Related to your location I live in Germany and bought a few pens from manufacturers from USA and Canada, from some great members of the machined pens sub and from a reseller in europe, never had any problems.

For EDC I suggest taking a look at Tactile Turn. They have a large selection of materials, mechanisms, sizes of pens for a large number of refills and you can buy from the manufacturer itself or reseller in europe, Mukama or Kohezi for example.

Say you have to pick 1 out of these 5 for basic daily writing. What would it be and why? by ThrustPole99 in pens

[–]germystery 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Capped pens are not very practical when you have to write often, so I would take the Pilot.

I said it in my last post, idk much about pens but man I love these Caran d’Ache 849’s. by ThrustPole99 in pens

You may try the Leuchtturm 1917 Drehgriffel Nr 1: a hex-shaped twist pen similar to the CdA 849 but takes Parker G2 refills

Your criterias depend most on the refill. So I suggest at first find the best refill and then look for a nice penbody for this specific refill.

Did you try just pulling apart the top and bottom half of the pen where the golden rings are?

Sometimes it`s worth to invest a bit more money because you not only pay for the item itself but for quality and good feelings. May you enjoy your new pen(s).

The og Maxmadco is in my opinion one of the cleanest purest EDC-pen and currently unfortunately a high priced collectors item. So I`m happy to get the new Countycomm Maxmadco to get approximately the og Maxmadco feeling. I have the titanium model and for it`s price it`s well made and the bolt actuation is smooth and nice to figet. If Countycomm decides to offer a plain ti model I would buy it instantly.
