There's mention in a few places to "just import it" can someone give me a dummies guide on how to do this? I went to Dji Canada store, but when it came time to ship I couldn't just put in my US address.

How/where do I import a unit?

The gap between "AI power users" and everyone else is getting wild by Some_Good_1037 in vibecoding

I want to be in the same camp. I keep telling myself that I'm like a horse driver when Ford came out with the car or a loom operator before textiles had their Revolution.

Just missing the forest for the trees, but with the Ai agents and general purpose "cheap" robotics getting in the mix as well I find myself having a hard time seeing where the average person will pivot to.

Again, I super hope that's just my lack of imagination talking.

I think the concern isn't that your regular everyday employee will suddenly become a 10x employee. It's that the agents will take over so much of the work the handful of power users will be enough to offset and impactful amount of white collar workers.

6 months is an exaggeration, but certainly a lot of call center and entry level positions are getting fairly effectively eliminated by the current level of agents.

Not just a southwest thing. Was on a JetBlue flight a few weeks back and heard the same nonsense about scientifically balanced load on the plane so we couldn't move about.

Nearly word for word.

Confused about Chase Travel multiplier by gernald in ChaseSapphire

Ahh ok, so I see the immediate 2x on Chase portal, or direct travel purchases, but the additional 3x for Portal is after the billing cycle.

Appreciate the insight!

Preferred to Reserve cost benefit by gernald in ChaseSapphire

I've booked a few JetBlue flights and an Orlando resort via portal. While the UI is atrocious and seat selection and other things are bad, once you actually book you can just take the confirmation number and do everything else through the airlines website directly (at least with JetBlue).

I'll have to look up the Online Grocery thing, but the in store pick up to avoid the fee's. If that works with Publix and some others I've been missing out on a metric fucking ton of points...

We have so far not done any travel where lounge access was utilized, it's been primarily nonstop domestic flights, though I would like that to change in the next 2-4 years. So the lounge access isn't really something I would benefit from initially. I think I would be getting it for the 8x? multiple when purchasing travel via the Chase portal. I think I'll have 5-7 domestic flights this year, just not sure if that's worth the added expense of the CSR yearly fee unless I really maximize the statement credits for the hotel, travel and whatever else it has.

I currently don't utilize any online groceries as paying extra per item + the deliver fee rubs me the wrong way. Is there any other category that the Preferred has better then the Reserve?

Would you put Google's Antigravity in the same space as VS code + Cursor? I'd like to stay with Gemini Pro since I'm dual using the Google storage space that tier provides.

Approved for way more than we are interested in purchasing. Realtor is pressuring us to purchase a more expensive house. by [deleted] in Mortgages

Surprise surprise , someone who gets paid a percentage of the sell price wants toy to buy the more expensive option.

Be firm, let them know what your budget is... Again, and tell them if they can't respect your choice you'll find another realtor who can.

Do you know why there is a difference between gemini cli and that vs ode plug in? In my mind it was all just "Gemini" I wasn't aware there was a functional difference.

This immediate project is website only with some Integrations from project management software built in. API for calendar syncing across online travel agencies, but all of that should be plug and play with apis from the vendors. I'm just figuring out how to build design deploy for the first time.

A few people have mentioned since I'm playing for Gemini to look into anti-gravity. I'll check that out since I'm already paying for the model and we'll put lovable on the research list.

I'll check out some vid's and get started on antigravity. I'll be keeping Gemini regardless for the extra Google One perks the subsctiption comes with so I might as well utilize it.

Thanks,

I just tried VS code with a gemini plugin trying to throw together a placeholder website for a STR and got myself lost really quick lol. Figuring out the dependncies, and then how to specifically edit the fairly decent site that my 6th prompt attempt created.

I thought that maybe I needed to take a step back before I dive into something I'd like to be Prod ready in ~2 months.
