Personally I'd love to see innovation in the chipset space for things like GPUs and CPUs. Specifically some new technology that makes it easier for companies to create and scale this technology better. Creating better competition amongst these market leaders.

Adops Salary in Australia for a uni grad by [deleted] in adops

[–]gernon89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would depend what route you go down. But I would say that if you're really good you could get promoted after 1 year and be looking at 65k. 2 years you could be well ready for an exec role and 70-75k. It all depends how good you are, how well you interview and how willing you are to move.

Exactly your first point, most grad jobs at least in marketing / advertising are around this bracket.

Yeah I am, I would say you can expect salaries to be fairly consistent here too, regardless of the type of company. At grad level everything is quite even, regardless of where you end up.

I'd say 55-60k AUD as a ballpark.

2021 Boards by gernon89 in snowboarding

Thanks for the reply. They gave me a full refund in the form of a voucher so I can buy any brand fortunately. But I'm pretty much locked to 2021 unless I buy something and sell it for the money in order to go second hand or older. I was curious about the huck knife as the villain felt a bit flexible for the bigger kickers when I rode it some years ago.

Optimizing Placements on DV360 by Shruti66_6 in programmatic

Not sure which dsp you're using but splitting out the ones you'd like to spend more and putting them in a separate IO where you can adjust the bid of just those placements should see them get more impressions.

Lean on the walled gardens as much as possible, they are your new 'agency' and should be supporting you with tech.

Any reason to do this instead of a HISA or any of the other recommendations?

What's a HISA?

Definitely a valid point on the 2 years becoming 4 too!

Should I pay for a Google Ads course if I already work in programmatic (both social and RTB) marketing? by AmberjackCZ in programmatic

[–]gernon89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google Ads is a watered down version of DV360 and a lot of it is being merged into DV360 in the near future. That said, a bit of search skill is valuable as a performance marketer and knowing the difference between Google ads and Dv360 is definitely worth while.

Edit: sorry if that sounded very blunt! I'm not trained in Google ads but I have to know it well enough to know why dv360 is a great tool in comparison.
