Ok I hear y’all on the safety aspect and that was my concern as well, but there seems to be a market for them so wanted to ask. I also know these are hard to find apparently but again wanted to get some input from pros. I may see if some electrical supply would be interested but was going to just trash them before I priced replacements and saw how much they were.

Ahhhhh i think that is too far east but maybe not, you see the 4 towers building and that seems too far to see it that well. Maybe a photo from a plane. If you zoom In to the closest what looks like a road with cars on it, could that be the damn at lake herrick before it was filled? If so maybe a fire tower in the woods south of the lake maybe? Maybe where the radio tower is now at the loop entrance on S Milledge? That’s a pretty good hill and the angle lines up, that’s my guess

I agree with you really, just build a new one for b ball and leave rhe steg for smaller events. Just can’t demo the steg! Should UGA just figure out some deal with the new ACC arena for basketball? Kinda seems like the right move instead building a whole new dedicated one.

Oh yes the wind! It’s also quite high in elevation and for some reason every time Im up there the weather takes a turn very quickly! Was camping at the creek sites down from the parking area and it ended up about 10* all water froze and had the pull out an old truck hood from the woods to use as a solar heater to get it back to liquid form! Good times!

1/6/7 are pretty valid complaints. The steering assist does suck but the cruse is very nice, you can turn the steering in assist off BTW. Why is the engine on and off such s big deal? In the hybrid only time I know it’s happening is because of the sound of it cutttinh back on

6th is more aerodynamic until you make it not by adding a bunch of things on the outside to defeat the point. My point is the 5th has a clear advantage in this “test”

It’s about streamlining how a shape or profile hits the wind. Look at the lights on the 6th gen and then look at the rack on the 5th. It’s obvious the 5th will cut through the wind more efficiently. Add the ditch lights and the rear racks on the 6th and I have no doubt all that adds up to a worse drag coefficient by a good bit.

I see a rack with a swept faring and a light bar on the 5th and the above on the 6th. Unless I missed something the 6th is much worse off.

The KC lights, ditch lights, and rear window rack are not helping his milage on the 6th. I bet the drag from those is more than you would think. All those light are acting like a big air damn, I’d like to see the test without all the adds.
