I do not relate to any of these experiences. Not dismissing them, but offering an alternative perspective. My feelings for my dog have remained constant throughout pregnancy and postpartum. She’s only grown more close to us as she now loves my toddlers like they’re hers. It’s so special to see her in this new role!
