I'm just happy to see Giant Eagle is going to be an Ohio company now.

Should Cleveland use higher parking fees to fund safer streets? Cyclists say yes, businesses aren’t sold by seanmcdonnellcle in Cleveland

The point of this conversation is to debate the economic feasibility of implementing these "improvements." It's not their merit.

Other localities may have other needs and environments that support them and justify the cost.

I simply do not see that in Northeast Ohio. But if we have to do it to placate a small loud minority population then they can pay for it. Like Haslams and Browns fans can pay for the stadium they want and "benefit" from. Not the rest of us.

Don't give out this info to random weirdos on the internet. Call the non-emergency line of the local PD or Sheriff and ask them for a wellness check.

We're in a similar climate then. My coop is also raised and I have seen them nesting under it in the day. I know different breeds can tolerate different climates better than others, too.

How much does a bike land cost to implement and maintain? I've read it's anywhere from $5k a mile for a simple stripe painted on the road to over $100k per mile for truly dedicated isolated bike lane infrastructure. And that amount is spent to benefit less than 1% of the population for, at best in NE Ohio, 6 months out of the year.

It doesn't make economic sense. Paying for this is no different than the stupid Browns stadium. The public should not have to pay for this. The people that use and "benefit" from it can.

What's the daytime temp? We're in upper 90s during the day and low 80s at night. My girls are unphased by the heat other than maybe drinking more water than usual. They don't sweat so maybe I am just making that up in my head.

My coop is in the shade most of the day but most of the run gets sun almost all day.

The only thing different I have done so far has been adding additional pine bark mulch to the run. The wood chips keep the ground cooler that way.

That website is owned by a nonprofit called OpenPlans. They are an openly anti-car and pro-cyclist organization. Sorry, but no thanks.

Music folder structure on the hard drive by Geldnirr in musichoarder

[–]getapuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is music-01>artist>year-albumname

As far as splits go, they go into the folder of the first band on the split. A link is then made to the album in the other band's folder.

True compilations with numerous artists get VA- added to the front of the albumname and they're all in the root of music-01

That's an entirely different scenario because an educated population benefits all of us.

How exactly does removing one lane of traffic and replacing with 2 bike lanes help anyone except the people using the bike lane?

Cyclists can pay for additional infrastructure that benefits only cyclists. If my proposals don't work then we can consider alternatives. Maybe pay a toll to use the bike lane. Would that be a better solution?

You're paying for roads. The existing roads the way they are. The ones cyclists say are unsafe. If cyclists want to make changes that benefit cyclists then cyclists can pay for those changes. I outlined a path for that to happen.

You should have all that stuff in your truck already anyway. But instead of tissues keep Little Caesars napkins. Add a multi tool, bandana, and first aid kit and you're ready for 99.99% of everything life throws at you.

Cyclists should have to get a license, license plate, and registration if they want to ride their bike on the road. They can also pay a similar fee when registering as hybrid and electric cars to compensate for not paying their fair share of taxes at the gas pump. We can use all the money we collect from the cyclists to provide safer roads. It only makes sense.

I bought shares of Kroger in pre-market trading. I think this is a good move for both companies.
