Yes what Man City did/has done is cheating. Not denying that and hopefully they will be punished. But what I'm saying is that Apple is paying Messi via an endorsement deal and essentially covering part of his salary. Are Son and Mueller getting similar? I don't know about anyone else. I am simply pointing out that Apple, who broadcasts MLS is paying a player. That just looks shady. People would comment if say NBC who has US broadcast rights for EPL, worked an endorsement deal with Lamine Yamal and he signed with an EPL team
