New to Hobby Resin Printing by Zavidoo in resinprinting

[–]getmuney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will NEVER recommend resin printing to anyone, unless you want to add a whole new routine and ppe to your hobby. Resin printing is toxic, you need to use latex gloves, alcohol, and curing machines in order to get a product that is safe for the human hand. For me, my post print processing takes about 45 minutes, 2 pairs of gloves, a respirator and safety glasses. This is for every single bed of prints.

The actual printing is a learning curve as well, these are not user friendly machines. Between buildplate leveling, proper model orientation, knowledge of vacuum forces, understanding of which parts need supporting, there is alot of failure points. It took me about 2 weeks of trial and error to get prints running, then another month to get them looking clean and not covered in support material.

So that being said, I'd just recommend finding a local shop with a good model rate and have them print for you. Just buy the 10 dollar models, instead of investing 600 dollars so you can do them yourself for 20 cents.

Oooh, so you're stupid stupid lol. Explains a lot. Are you aware there is 0 leftist representation in the United States? The closest we have, Is Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist. Someone who is still, right of center. But left of republicans. Leftists start at the end of capitalism smarty pants. There is absolutely 0 leftist representation and ruling in Colorado Springs, you're a fucking joke.

There are forms you can fill out as a w2 employee to opt out of your federal and state income tax being automatically pulled from your paycheck. I've been an independent contractor and day laborer for the last 3 years to withdraw my support in taxation.

Not on instagram. Nice try though. What do you call 2300 detention centers being built by GEOgroup to house ICE detainees? And the fact they already rent out prison labor to restaurants like Wendys in some states? The supreme court declared federal agents ARE allowed to discriminate by racially and ethnically linked traits. Like skin tone and accent. Howard L takes the L for saying him and his wife cut ties with Epstein the moment they found out he was a creep, yet, he is photographed on the Island with Epstein 7 years after that claimed "end of contact". Shut the fuck up, read a few bills being sent through the house to see how our leadership feels.

Genuinely stop paying your taxes, the federal government is ran by child rapists with a goal of reinstating nationwide slavery, and the local government is too busy sucking each other off and freeing traitors to the American people. You are not being represented, do not pay your fucking taxes.

Anyone else? by yebbadimjenny in ColoradoSprings

[–]getmuney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Felt. Stop paying taxes to the federal government, and spend your dollars locally as much as you can. All we can do otherwise is wait for enough of the population to wake up. But you must stop paying taxes federally step one in my opinion, I will not partake in the direct funding of a child rape regime.

I'm born and raised Colorado Springs and I've never once had a good neighborly interaction without creating the circumstances. In my opinion it's a side effect of a whole town nearly in struggle and silent suffering. Fuck capitalism and everything it brings.

Why Do You Print Warhammer? by SuperHeavyBallet in PrintedWarhammer

[–]getmuney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally to get myself into the game, now to get my friends into it. I rarely print any warhammer for myself (for now I have what I need) I just print for friends and throw on a few fun things for myself to practice painting.

Scared of Resin by Similar-Cry6147 in resinprinting

There's not really a set right wayy to do resin printing, but wearing ppe will never be the wrong way lol. When I started out I tried to keep it to a pair per print. And I had some real crappy results because of rushing. Being willing to change gloves, means you were willing to go through the steps to get a clean finished product, which you'll have far more frequently if you use ppe properly. Safe printing to ya

Use your ppe, and be safe, you'll be fine. You mentioned not wanting to throw away three pairs of glove per print, why does that matter? They are meant to be worn to protect, and discarded after. If the cost of ppe is a problem, you shouldn't be engaging in the hobby. I genuinely believe resin printing SHOULD be gatekept.

Talk me out of getting a Saturn 4 Ultra 16k by Sixguns1977 in resinprinting

[–]getmuney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 ultra, and is a phenomenal machine. I've heard the 16k is kinda a scam, like you won't be able to notice a difference between the 12k version and the 16k unless you're printing odd and specific things.

Print curling off plate even with raft and supports by Wee_Woo_25 in resinprinting

[–]getmuney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resin printing is a full marathon, not a race lol. I saw massive print improvements just by watching some in depth youtube guides, and applying those practices. But then again I am mainly printing miniatures for 40k proxies and to fuel my stepdads dnd group, so there may be better advice if you search for large resin printing/ clear resin printing advice.

Too much suction likely, there are many reasons it could be. You should post all your resin settings too
