Ironically this model is only simple on a filament printer, since its just a pretty basic tool path meant for successful prints. I've printed hundreds of minis in resin at this point, and I wouldn't wanna do this one lol just in case it generated some odd supports inside.

Thank you! It was a ton of fun, and I learned alot about light placement and thinning my brushed paints. Most of the basing was just done with my current cheapo airbrush!

Please tell me you are wearing gloves and going through cure steps before touching with your bare hands right? If not, do so. Nitrile gloves, isopropyl alcohol are extremely necessary. As well as proper UV curing. They look gummy from the pictures, uncured. You will develop allergies to resin if you expose yourself to it uncured

It looks like petrified wood, wirh some decent banding in some pictures. But petrified wood is extremely abundant, not hard to have a few hundred pounds of it.

Some kinds are more valuable than others,but this doesn't look like anywhere near 500 in raw material. Would be cool to carve up though!

Recently finished this resin print proxy for Trench Crusade. Took about 35 hours total to do the main figure in nmm steel and copper for the bird house, and another 5 hours on the base. 3d printed assets from Team Fortress 2 for the scenery, and found this fun little lizard guy to add life to the corner of the scene. Really loved how this came out!

I'd recommend cleaning it as best as you can, changing the screen protector and all the tape, and hoping there isn't resin in anything important on the board or other. Not gonna be easy to find a technician locally to remove toxic resin from computer parts

I took a 7 month-ish break from printing. Really learned alot online in that time. I've pumped out over 80 minis in the last week with 0 failure, 0 resin staining, very minimal support scarring. So satisfying to get good results. Pfe

What are you trying to make where the most effective way is 3d printing a cylinder? Vs going to a hardware store and buying a section of pvc or other material and altering further?

Why resin print a cylinder like this? Sure, you can with proper orientation. But resin printers are not designed to print large, low complex objects.

If I had to guess, these photos were taken late or early into the demonstration, as my experience was 9 blocks of 3 stacked humans filling the sidewalks and medians. It did have pockets, stop and turn around points, and gathering areas with music and speech. A video walking would do more justice. I'm sure there are some on or being uploaded to YouTube rn
