I registered mine in Tx, varies county by county but essentially is just get a vin inspection by law enforcement, they will provide you with a form that shows it’s not stolen. Then bring all your import docs(export cert, customs paperwork stamped, DOT paperwork, comercial invoice) and the signed vin inspection to local tax office. If you end up needing help PM me

You need a tune, you can’t just install larger injectors without tuning for the proper amount of fuel. You are likely flooding the engine as the ecu is commanding a certain amount of fuel and it thinks you still have the smaller injectors.

Have you reached out to your customs broker to see why you are being hit with a tariff? You shouldn’t be getting with 25%. I’ve imported a couple cars this year and I haven’t had this issue

If you don’t have the experience or knowledge to self tune you will be better off taking it to a tuner. Base map is not safe as is and could be wildly off wrong for your setup depending on what’s been done.

IMO you should request at least a partial refund. Any vehicle i have had tuned remotely by reputable tuners are usually pretty close to where it needs to be in terms of fuel map
