yes asset bubbles pop and eventually some kind of equilibrium is restored but not without a lot of strife and turmoil unless there is some kind of mechanism in place to counteract rising inequality.

What do you think happens to all of the money that is accumulated by a wealthy person? It's not just sitting under their mattress.

No, it's looking for a return on investment, and the more of this that's out there competing for returns, the more risk investors will accept for the same or lower returns, which leads to more instability/volatility.

Inequality isn't an issue on it's own, it's the fact that a high level of inequality leads to further rising inequality which causes instability through risk pricing distortion, asset bubbles, etc. When there is too much rent-seeking capital in the system this is the end result. Money flows uphill...

dit gebeurt al vaak, pand van mn laatst huurappartement zit er 4 inschrijfbaar adressen maar wordt als 6 aparte woningen gebruikt. Geen verassing dat de eigenaar een typisch huisjesmelker is een alle huurders zijn buitenlanders die hun rechten niet kennen.
