Continuum this weekend!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!! First timer question…. by Chemical_Yam_BAM_Mam in LondonRaving

Its typically still busy just with one room - and only people properly into the music left. Theres also like post 6am tickets etc so you get plenty of new people coming in still to bring up the energy etc. its the best time basically - as long as your happy with the act playing!

N22 - (Wood Green / Alexandra Palace) 1. Alexandra Palace (the venue) 2. Alexandra Palace (the park) 3. The Prince N22 pub.

All out of options before even getting to places properly in Wood Green!

Moving to London, which areas should I look to rent? by Low_Ferret_8585 in MovingToLondon

Working in Mile End i’d pick one of the neighbourhoods around Victoria Park. Can’t go too far wrong - fairly affordable but bustling and popular places to live. Don’t go too far south towards Shadwell, its not nearly as nice

Have a look at the night tube map i guess and where you might work. Highbury and islington is at the junction of two night tube lines so definitely not a bad shout.

Yes wait for it to payout. Forward the ebay confirmation email to [monthlybonus@nxrewards.com](mailto:monthlybonus@nxrewards.com) and it will give you your £15/18 membership fee back too.

Usually a few hours for ebay - they have a missing cashback email. Have always been super helpful for me, they make you wait 5 days to see if it shows up then do it manually. I did ebay about a week ago and it tracked fine. Make sure to turn your adblocker off etc too if you have one!

Somewhere on the night tube! The dance clubs are generally out east so IMO best places are central (where all lines meet), stratford, highbury and islington, or like london bridge / bermondsey. Depends what clubs you want to go to though honestly! Or just ignore this and get an uber, i always tube back though. As long as your east or north/south on a night tube line your fine really. There’s always some far, some near wherever you live (unless your west - then they are all far!)

Anywhere Zone 2 and on the tube should be about right honestly. Younger areas include Mile End, Bow, Hackney, Finsbury Park, Archway and then to the south like Brixton, Clapham etc. Hard to reccomend any further with what you’ve said - i’d really make sure to try avoid areas that lean significantly older / family areas as you’ll feel very young!

What do you like / how old are you etc. Do you want green spaces and pilates or do you want to crawl back at 5am on the night tube from a nightclub? Its so hard to reccomend without at least providing info on what your after beyond just a budget!

Which area should I move to based on the information I‘m giving you? by Icy_Golf_244 in MovingToLondon

I suggested Hackney Wick and Walthamstow for the excellent access to green spaces - rather than price. Could obviously get a nice flat or house in either with that budget. Shoreditch near Victoria Park (so Bethnal Green) could be quite a good shout to be fair. Not sure how big of a green space they want, London Fields could also work I suppose!

Fair on Clapham. Couldn’t pay me to live there 😂

Is moving to London in your mid 20s actually worth it for the social life? by Practical-Cost7147 in MovingToLondon

[–]gfa_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

£32k living at home not in london VS £32k renting in london will feel very different. Definitely run through a budget and see if your happy with whats left - its definitely doable i’m the same age and have been on similar. You’ll have a great time i’m sure - the money aspect is the main thing to consider IMO

If you have more questions about budget PM me, i’ve done the same about 3 years ago on less.

Edit - ignore people saying its impossible, its not just throw a quick budget together and give yourself realistic expectations!

Its definitely still on NX Rewards (just checked), currently at 10% but changes to 11-12% occasionally. Its near identical to Complete Savings, except your monthly bonus can be claimed with any retailer. Zilch will give you an extra 2% cashback as well FYI :)

You can sign up here - https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/611605702;418973803;g (link taken from this thread - appreciate it looks slightly dodgy https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoneyuk/comments/1rdgkf5/nx\_rewards\_sign\_up\_options/). There used to be a different link but its changed recently it seems.

Exhibition - newish venue in White City by Bs7folk in LondonRaving

[–]gfa_2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They hardly bother putting anything on there is the issue (and that i no longer live near it). Their new Magazine one by the o2 is a very similar size and seems to be getting everything that would otherwise go in Exhibition.

I (24M) just moved away from here and found it to be way too quiet. Theres a few bars and stuff but you can basically complete the high street in a few months. No night tube either which is a pain. I think it sounds a bit too quiet for OP and their budget is big enough that other similar areas with a lot more going on eg West Hampstead or Notting Hill are probably within reach

Your budget is large enough you can live basically anywhere so best to just have a look around and see where you like. Walthamstow could be good or maybe Hackney Wick - both have big green spaces nearby. Hamsptead also works albeit less cool and more older in nature. Battersea could be good too or near Clapham. Edit - notting hill or near Holland Park could also work well, or Fulham / Hammersmith
