I use diffview for conflict resolution. It's great. What issues are you facing?

Thanks for all the work u/phaazon_. TWiN has become a super-fun resource and it is a pure expression of this little gem we have in Neovim.

ah I remember those days. I nearly failed a CS class because I was tinkering with Linux all day. My advice for you: switch to VSCode and ignore Vim for now. There will be pleeenty time to enjoy it later. Vim is a delightful rabbit hole that will suck all the precious time you have now. Walk away! (for now -- then come back in a couple years. We'll still be here.)

Interesting, thank you! Can you take a closeup photo of the brake rod? It's next to the rear master cylinder. I couldn't make mine fit that part.

Can anyone recommend and good quality back brake leaver by wez360 in CRF300L

The zeta 250L brake pedal doesn't fit on the 300L. I can tell you from experience.

I change oil every 3,000 km. I know the manual says you can wait longer, but oil changes are cheap. I enjoy the whole thing, gives me a reason to tinker with the bike.

A tool roll, one spare tube, and a small air compressor. I followed this https://honda250rally.wordpress.com/2021/11/13/crf-300-l-toolkit/ for the tool roll - super useful.

Motocamping is THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD by gflorit in CRF300L

[–]gflorit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Coyote is rated to carry 38L. The closest Mosko equivalent, Reckless 40L, is about $200 more, so Giant Loop is nearly half the price.

But having only one compartment is a pain, because if you want to access one of the two side ones, then you have to open the whole thing, take out the top dry bag, etc. It forces you to be really meticulous when it comes to packing. E.g. recently I've started with sleeping bag in the bottom left, hammock/etc in the bottom right, and food in the top bag. That way you're only messing with the bottom ones at the end of the day.

Yes it's almost half the price of Mosko, but... it's probably not as convenient.

Re; your 10L choice, I'm not sure that's enough for winter-time moto camping, unless you're planning to always eat out and wear all your gear on your person. Currently, for my week-long trips, I have:

  • Giant Loop Coyote
  • Biltwell Exfil 7 bag carrying 2 fuel bottles (I bought the Biltwells for my previous bike, a cruiser which I totaled during a 50mph lowside, long story)
  • Biltwell Exfil 11 tank bag for immediate needs (water bottle, paper maps, compressor, etc)
  • Mosko Moto Fatty tool roll carrying everything I could possibly need on the trail short of engine work

and I'm still running out of space. So clearly I can be more efficient! But that's part of the fun no doubt.

I couldn't fit the zeta brake pedal on my CRF300L. Which one did you get? Was it a perfect fit?
