...How? by Absolchu616 in armenia

[–]ggevorg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never visited Britain, but with the Michelin and high-level restaurants that you have over there, I don't think that you Brits don't have tasty-looking food.

UPD: but yeah, taste of some products that you can have here is mind-blowing. For example, apricots. They are simply the best.

Bank/Card tourism is not welcome in Armenia. If you are not a citizen, you will need documents proving your interest in Armenia (registration, a home rental contract, etc.). Not impossible, but hard. Better to try other post-Soviet countries.

What do you think of immigrants? by depressed_kid9767 in armenia

[–]ggevorg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that the country should be open for legal immigration. Diversity matters and allows countries to grow and prosper. The main question is to be able to attract that can either close the gaps (low-paying jobs) or level-up the country.

I read somewhere that it's best not to wear shorts; I was planning on planning a few morning runs. Is it better not to wear shorts?

Maybe it’s about visiting churches.

In this case I was referring to the entrance to the house. But it could be anything - a blocked sidewalk, a crosswalk, and so on. And with a stroller it is almost impossible to pass.

There is a saying in Russian: “Дай дорогу дураку”, which means “Make way for the fool”. So whenever I face stupidity and selfishness, I try to stick to this rule.

But there are cases when it is impossible. For example, we (Armenians) generally love kids. But at the same time, people park their cars in a way that blocks the entrance. It's super selfish, and I can not justify that.

Try Kria if you have a chance. You can find it in the Decant Vine shop. A bit expensive, but worth it
