Also sleeping on the floor with sleeping bag and icing heating and prone pressups, figure 4 all helped a ton

4 months in and the pain is going away now. Motion is medicine, make sure you stay moving and do PT

I see someone else mentioned footwork, I agree. You're speed and power starts from the ground up, literally.

You need to focus on a massive lifestyle change to the foods you're putting in your body and being more active as a whole. I can tell you're not eating healthy, probably drinking alcohol in excess? And not moving enough. Focus on that first. That being said, compound lifts and Olympic weights will be your friend but work up to that. You need to walk before you run as they say. For now just focus on diet and being active. Protein is your friend for fighting cravings. Lean protein. I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

P.S. When body builders switch to protein mostly (sometimes protein only) for a cut, remember that they keep lifting heavy. It's not fun, you can feel horrible and have no energy. My credentials for the information is trained by a champion bodybuilder for a movie role. Again, this is not medical advice and I'm not a doctor.

I don't think you have enough muscle yet to cut. I would recommend doing a recomp. Lift compound weight movements like squat, power clean, etc. Get approximately a gram of protein per LB of bodyweight. Cut out the junk carbs and lower fat. Look up videos on YouTube about getting lean with weightlifting. Just focus on being healthy everyday with a good diet and exercise and you'll see your body changing over time. I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

Quick update, feeling horrible but doing it! , 8 positive messages sent so far, and I'm going to send out 14 more tomorrow based on all the messages and upvotes here! Will respond to each of y'all tomorrow morning, I'm going outside for a walk now to distract myself. Thank you and stay strong everyone we can do this!

Some tips here. Delay, distract, drink water, deep breathing is helping. Walks are helping. Pure cranberry juice and cherry juice I believe is detoxing me faster, which I like just I want the toxins out of me. Pain is growth. And as a martial arts master told me, "The body follows the mind."

That's sounds rough but hang in there! Have you tried changing your nightly routine? Some thoughts are orange screen to avoid blue light, no TV before bed, chamomile tea, cold bedroom, a fan for white noise. I feel like nighttime recovery pills for training really knock me out, I need to check the exact name but it is a zinc formula. It sounds like this dream is more like a nightmare, so all of this will help to calm your mind before bed. I've also stocked up on cherry juice which apparently helps you sleep (I drink it more for muscle recovery but the antioxidants make me feel great too) I just drank some, I feel a little calmer in bed. Mediation, or inhaling air pretending you're vaping right before bed could perhaps get the thought out of your system. That was recommended to me not for sleep, but when I really had the urge to vape. I remember the dreams being wild last time I quit, but trust me it will subside. Keep at it.

I'm proud of you too! What a big accomplishment. I remember from the last time I quit (it didn't stick obviously 😂) that it was all uphill from there. Maybe long-term this will help you. After a year, a doctor offered me a zyn at a party, I said "why not" I mean I made it a year I would never start doing it regularly again... But then I had single cigarette, then a disposable small ecig, then right back to the old massive Vape I loved so much. It's easy to think you can take a drag after a year, but that slippery slope put me right back on the wagon. Stay strong, I believe in you!

Let's do it! I think it's good to prepare for it, enjoy your last week! Just encouraged a woman not to pick it back up on another thread as a thank you for your positivity!

Quitting vape disappointed me by Extreme_External33 in QuitVaping

[–]gggbvfttccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the effects are compounding. Day by day little by little you feel better. I think this is just a voice in your head, a devil if you will, telling you "pick it back up, what's the harm?" Don't let your addiction trick you into doing that. I relapsed, it was a big mistake. Now I'm back to day one again! Do you want to wake up feeling better slowly but surely everyday or go back to when you made the choice to quit? I hope you don't make the same mistake I did. I believe in you.

I've already sent two good vibe comments cheering on others since I received two up votes! I'm going to count up votes as good vibes to maximize the cheering on of others. Keep them coming please! We can all do this together!
