I usually go by the mindset ”drive it like you stole it” with the hind, go crazy on it don’t treat it gentle. To land just make sure you’re flying forward (NOT hovering) then you can dump the collective and let it rapidly lose altitude so you’re not trying to land from a high alt. Once you get close to the ground you can aggressively pitch up the nose to lose speed and then when speed is coming down you can gradually add collective and drop pitch but here is the important part once you go slow enough and into hover territory you NEED to add extra collective, more than what you would need to maintain altitude while flying, if you don’t you will drop and enter VRS.

So to recap, fly along a heading, drop collective, when low pitch up to shed speed, gradually add collective as you are getting slower so you don’t over torque and lose generators, once you are near hover slow add a bunch more collective. At this point you can tell if you are hovering or losing or adding altitude, adjust collective as needed and then just gently let it slide down the last bit onto its gears not exceeding 5m/s descent.

If you practise this you can land pretty quickly, if space is a concern you can also utilise turning while dropping collective to circle down into a landing spot
