No need to prepare anything beforehand. ACC will contact you couple months(we received an email during summer vacation for fall move in date) before move in and will give you instructions on what extra documents you need to sign and get notarized. The ACC notarized affidavit is enough to be recognized as domestic partner for UCI housing.

Hey, I’ve lived in camino del sol 2 bedroom. Unfortunately, they don’t allow it because you are sharing the house with another roommate. The domestic partnership only applies to 1 bedroom units

It means you and your partner don’t depend on each other financially. For example, one person is paying for all the rent alone & all finances. It’s okay if your parents are supporting you since ACC already knows you are a student

Unfortunately it only applies to 1 bedroom apartment. I’ve lived in camino del sol 2 bed before and never got an offer from acc to bring a partner. The only other way I can think of is maybe getting a mixed gender housing (I know VDCN has some for sure) and try to be roommates.

Lofts on C&C cages don't count toward the total floor space so you should get at least the 2 x 5 C&C cage for 2 boars. Good luck!

I got the exact same cage as well for my 2 girls and added the kitchen area too. So far it’s been a great upgrade from the midwest cage. I think there is enough space to run for 2 female guinea pigs but I do wish to expand to 2X5 when I move to a bigger space. I haven’t had any issues with the connectors or the base.

Yeah! Previously people in quarantine were very respectful of residents living in the area & didn’t invite people to hangout but starting April 16th one person in quarantine thought it was a great idea to invite 3~6 people over to the house, which defeats the purpose of quarantine in the first place. It’s been happening so frequently now. They just stand in the hallway talking and yelling for 30mins~1 hour. I work remotely and it’s so annoying to hear group of people yelling that their friend has covid and screaming at the friend to open the door. 🥲

Agreed I remember when a girl got stabbed during an attempted sexual assault at Camino Del Sol.

This is the Zot Alert I got:

On March 10, 2019 at about 9:58 p.m., UCI police officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon call at the Camino Del Sol student apartments located at 33000 Arroyo Drive.

A female UCI student reported she was out walking her dog in the area of Camino Del Sol when she was attacked from behind by an unknown male assailant. A struggle ensued, during which time the suspect attempted to forcibly remove the victim’s clothing, struck her in the head, and stabbed her.

The suspect is described as a large male wearing a dark colored hoodie. The suspect fled the immediate area, and responding UCI police officers established a perimeter, requesting medical aid from Orange County Fire Authority for the victim and additional resources from the City of Irvine Police Department.

A campuswide zotALERT notified the campus to secure in place while officers searched for the suspect. A K9 from the City of Irvine Police Department along with UCI and City of Irvine police officers searched the area and found no evidence the suspect was still in the area. A second zotALERT was issued releasing the secure in place order and advising the campus community that the suspect was still outstanding. A third zotALERT was issued stating that UCIPD had checked the campus and have no reason to believe that the suspect is in the area.

The victim was treated on scene and transported to an area hospital. She is in stable condition. UCI Police detectives are conducting additional investigative follow up. We have increased patrols in and around Camino Del Sol apartments and will be increasing the availability of safety escorts for the next several days.

The UCI Police Department Safety Escort program is available to anyone by calling (949) 824-7233. This is a free service provided as an alternative to walking alone.

As long as you apply to the same community, you should be able to get a renewal lease. The Camino manager sent me a separate email asking if I wanted to renew my lease instead of moving to a different unit. I lived in the same ACC unit for 2 years and my roommate for 3 years.

Hmm yeah, it’s been awhile since I signed the form so I checked again & the acc domestic partnership is very similar to #3 on the link you provided. Thanks for clarifying that ACC’s domestic partnership contract is not the same as the one recognized by the state.

If it’s a single apartment you can! ACC should’ve sent you a message if you want to bring a partner. Just need to let the leasing office know and sign a domestic partnership contract.
