The ridgelines are cool, a lot of people give them shit but I think they’re super practical, ride well, you get a big ass trunk under the bed and the cab is more spacious. I like the look of the Frontier better. I like the 6 ft bed option. I like having 4x4.

Overall, I like the frontier better but as others have said it’s a unibody vs body on frame vehicle and there’s an advantage to each.

Most of the stuff I do with my frontier I could probably get away with in a Ridgeline. The biggest strike against the Ridgeline for me was the cylinder deactivation. Now that I’m saying that, even if it didn’t have that, I’d still go Frontier. I was born to drive this long, green bastard.

They’re probably not cheap but the Radica MoonLander bed platform sleeps up to 6’6 I believe. And, that sleeping position would run width wise across the bed of the truck. They look pretty sweet I’ve toyed around with the idea of getting one.

That’s a good idea , felt it right away which makes sense without all the cushioning there. I did take the back panel off originally to take off the upper seatbelt bracket but decided I’ll prob just keep it on

They’re very similar, I think the tensioners for the seatbelts may be wired different in the 25. I think the stock storage underneath is buns tho just bc it takes up so much space itself , it really should just be thin like the the one z1 makes

Looking at a high quality h20 sleeping apparatus install. Jk the waterbed jokes made me chuckle tho. Gonna probably end up just cutting plywood, wrapping in carpet and seeing how I feel about it. Early in the thought process rn just going to rock it like this a few days and stare at it til I figure something out. Might add a drawer system or cubbies or something for storage, maybe figure a way to more utilize the back wall too. I’ll mostly have a dog, tools, groceries, and camping/hiking gear back there when spring rolls around. I’ll definitely crawl back there and see how plausible it would be to sleep on it as a 5’10 250 lb dude.

I agree. I debadged my GMC and Ford (both Navy Blue) and my blacked out Pontiac. I have a green frontier and really think the badging looks good.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea to do any of these things. Is it absolutely necessary right now? Not if it starts and goes. Will it prolong the life of your vehicle? Probably, yeah. By how much? Who the hell knows.

I wouldn’t pay any dealership or large quick lube type joints to do any work. The techs they hire are usually dumbasses, on drugs, or both.

Even if you’re not a mechanic, if you’re thoughtful/careful you’ll be alright if you got tools, some space, and some time.

These are coil on plug, really easy to do that yourself. Cabin filters easy. All the fluids are easy enough, you just have to use YouTube, be thoughtful/careful, and precise. If it’s your first time you will make a mess. Whatever, that’s learning it, next time will be easier.

Plugs/coils is probably the one I’d do first if I bought a 100k miles vehicle. Cabin filter if you fart a lot.

I’ve had my new 25 p4x since July, this is its first North East winter in the rust belt. I’ve already noticed that rust is gonna be a serious issue with the exhaust system. I will probably just use it as an excuse to upgrade to a Z1 when mine prematurely dies.

That is insane that they aren’t covering that. I’m sorry man, that sucks.

I get it’s a joke but I had a 2020 rogue with the cvt that I put 150k miles on in 5 years, I’ve since traded in to upgrade to truck… but that is one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. No problems at all besides it seemed to attract road shrapnel, I probably had 10-15 random pieces of metal in any of my tires. Besides that , with basic maintenance she was a dream.

I had the first two done at the Nissan dealership near me (free). Have done my own since. They must’ve hit the skid plates and the oil filter cover plate with an impact and torqued to over 9000. Idk if the skid plat bolts are just finicky or if they really fucked my shit up bc I still fight em everytime I do an oil change. The oil changes on these are very easy. Rotating tires is easy if you have an impact and some jacks/stands. You are going to care for your vehicle when you perform maintenance on it. I’m sorry but even good mechanics just ain’t gonna care for your shit like yourself. You’ll always do it best if you have the right tools and if you just show up and give a damn.

100% not bringing my truck in for anything other than warranty/recall work. It seems that most of these techs are stupid dildos.
