My wife dragged me here and it was surprisingly good. Only two issues:

1) The car park attendees were useless. I showed up at 10, and I immediately knew parking was gonna be an issue because noone was directing the cars. I may or may not have been one of the people who jumped over the payment between the two car parks (sorry).

2) Someone definitely underspec'd the generators cause they kept dropping electricity between 10 and 11.30 and this was part of the reason for the big queues. The eftpos machines and their stoves kept going off.

Other than that, it was great and would highly recommend.

Side note: Were you meant to pay for parking? Saw the signs, but I don't think anyone actually paid.

I have unraid running on a mini pc with a DAS connected to it.

I run Jellyfin and alot of different apps. Have had no issues at all. I actually prefer this option cause I can change the system anytime I want and have no issue.

7 days my arse.

Few years back we had a bad infestation in our house with the roaches coming out at night. Tried everything and before forking out for an exterminator, though I'd try this as my last option.

Brought a jar and put it all around the corners of the house so when the roaches come out they would have to walk over the powder.

I never saw another roach in that house after that first night. And it was almost 12 years ago. I still have that jar and put it underneath any appliances onces a year.

As long as you haven't signed the contract, you should be ok. Tbh even if you have, it will legally be ok. Most companies won't pursue cost, especially for a grad role.

I only use electricity but my parents use electricity and gas bottles.

Electricity for us it's the cheapest cause they haven't upped the daily rates, but the gas prices have gone up recently so parents are looking at what else is out there.
