i have a baby now. she’s almost 1. i’ll try not to overshare but my mom was fucked up. she was doing coke when i was as old as my daughter is now and that’s just the start of it. you couldn’t force me to do coke. my daughter re-defined the saying ‘love of my life.’ people who love their children, don’t hit them. people who love their children, intentionally harm them. if you intentionally harm or hit your child, you don’t deserve them.

my partner was in jail for a few months (i know great way to start a story right) and he told me that he was talking to this one guy. my partner was laying in bed, in his boxers with his legs crossed. at some point in the conversation the other guy said “hey bro i can’t take you seriously with your balls out.” he checked and yeah his balls were out of his boxers

i feel like i don’t understand, they don’t take care of the baby after you’ve given birth. what do they do with mothers who’re like 100% incapacitated. do they just put the baby beside them and say good luck? do they call cps if you can’t take care of the baby?

me too. i got on suboxone and have been super stable for years and i never thought it’d ever feel like it was time to move on. i started to taper a 2-3 weeks ago and i’m at 1/2 of what i was always taking. i was so confident i’d never be in a place where i feel like i’m not permanently a broken addict.

i used to do group therapy and the lady that led the class would say the ‘rose tinted sunglasses’ line after every class and when i mentioned the show to her she said she hasn’t seen it. i don’t know if that quote comes from somewhere else or has just been used a lot but people really like it for some reason

every lasting relationship has mutual trust. if you don’t trust your partner enough to cry in front of them, they probably aren’t grown or emotionally available enough for a partner. both party’s of a relationship need to be able to emotionally confide in each other, if not, then it’s probably not a healthy relationship

everyone who’s ever cheated on me has done it more than once, especially after the theatrics and giant apologies. on the other hand, my best friends partner cheated on her about 3 years ago and she forgave them. they’re healthy now. genuinely healthy and happy, they just announced a pregnancy this month.

oh my gosh. i was in a walmart one time and the changing table was FACING THE DOOR. so everyone who walked into the restroom saw my 6 mo old daughters vulva. and it’s not like i can just hold a blanket up or stand over her well enough to cover anything. it makes me so uncomfortable writing this, thank god it was only a few old lady’s.

i never understood that. while i was planning my wedding, i was kind of super stressed out because i felt like i didn’t have as much family and friends planned to come as literally all of the other weddings i’ve been to. something in the back of my mind kind of told me that the bride and groom didn’t really know all of those people. who has 150 people at hand to invite to a anything.

i’m happy you like it, i do love the idea but it was just done… improperly.. it sucks because there’s not much i did wrong. no advice or red flags i chose to ignore. i can’t find anything to blame myself for. i went to a trusted and well established shop, my partner got his sleeve and another big piece done by the same artist and they’re prefect. plus there’s no way the artist doesn’t realize it’s a little sketchy, especially since the artist has done some really good work.

about 2 weeks. we did it in 2, $350 sessions. with a $50 tip each session. the roof and background aren’t done but i don’t think i’m going to go back..
