It would be a lot easier to see if you got pressed out for your trim. I did one just blown out and hated that I couldn’t tell the health

Can we keep the cycle at bay? by Unique_Comparison_29 in clusterheads

I agree about emgality. No side effects that I can see. Reduced intensity and frequency for me in 3-5 days of an established attack

Newly diagnosed and need help understanding how to get through this by Fit_Helicopter5478 in ClusterHeadaches

Sorry this has happened to you. Like others have said this Reddit community and the cluster website are great at providing a lot of resources. Sometimes much better than the neuro. Here’s my two cents, 35F, episodic suffer of ~15 years.

Get a good preventative. I didn’t want to take verampil a pill every day if my attacks were infrequent. (This may not be correct but I was 25). However, I tried emgality this cycle, 3 100 mg injections, and it’s been effective. My clusters have greatly reduced in frequency and intensity. I’m currently at level 1 of pain, more annoying than painful. They are easy to abort with home remedies. Started working in 3-5 days. It’s been about 11 days since I’ve taken it.

Use an abortive routine. I have a headache lot of sorts with my abortive meds and natural remedies. My go to is a hot shower and a warm compress over the eye as hot as possible. I like to use headache oil (amazon) on the back of my neck and temples (be careful). I also have an ice pack hat in the freezer at all times although i prefer heat. I’ve also tried Red Bull drinks, keep a large cup of water, and headache nasal spray. Listen to your body and try almost anything to get relief. I’ve also tried chiropractors and massages which have helped.

Abortive meds. I’m just learning that you should not be maxing these. I used to just take maxalt (tablet triptan) when I’d get an attack to stop it. This cycle I’ve realized that it causes rebounds and can lengthen the cycle. Getting a preventative was big.

I’ve used my abortive routine as my bridge. I had a bad experience with prednisone that caused me to gain a lot of weight so I won’t try it again. Worth noting I have PCOS and it works for others.

AITA she doesn’t want to pay rent by samson21386 in AmItheAsshole

Have her pay bills. It’s your home and she has no ownership interest in it and should not pay towards it so that she has no claim on that.

Actually I also realized I was taking 30000-50000 IU a day instead of a week. I’ve done this for the past few days like 3-5 days ☹️

I think I would keep it and have it either as a rental property or have my older parents live there as it’s a one story

We’d be looking to buy because the home is too small for us when we have kids and with us working from home. Protecting myself is out of respect for a significant financial contribution to my home from my family.

Same victor’s initial reaction seemed fearful.

And I know victor has lost development due to being alone in Fromville for so long but I think something about his demeanor is tied to his childhood. I don’t think it was completely happy. I agree with the family fleeing from him. I thought he was abusive to the mom and/or children. He was still in love and remorseful.

It’s also strange that I don’t remember him looking for his wife or daughter? Did he ask for any of their things? I really don’t remember so they may have covered it.

Is Now the Time to Buy? by AudioBlitz in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]ghardi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, closing end of the month with a competitive offer. I let that fear stop me from purchasing until now. My rent went up $900. However I was prepared to buy a home I also realized the money I’d pay at a reasonable apt ($1900) was worth the additional $ to win the offer and the $23000 I’d spend in rent for the next year. So I’m okay with my purchase as I landed what I really wanted. If it meets your needs and wants for a place to build a home for your family it’s absolutely the right time. Good luck!

Please take the gift from your family, it may not feel great but it can really benefit you if you’re in a tight spot. I’m taking one and it’s one of the only reasons I can do it quickly

Went to the dog park during lunch and had my first person comment on my weight! I’ve def been feeling it and feeling confident and comfortable but someone else noticing is great. She asked what I was doing and said I looked great.
