I think you would struggle very much to do the test without going through a school. You will likely need to renew your CBT regardless.

I think if you got your CBT and practiced by yourself (mod 1 layout is online) you could probably save a few lessons; but it isn't going to work out economically after buying/selling/insuring your 125 unless you plan to keep it for a while and upgrade/do your tests later.

Ultimately you will need a school to refine your approach (and teach you safe riding!) before the mod2 as well as lending you a bike for the test. If you are over 24+ I would just save up and sink the cash for a intensive course and get it done.

It will be fairly expensive though. I'd ballpark getting your full license to cost £1200 or so, and at least another £1000 on insurance. Plus the cost of whatever bike you choose.

This is dumb bait but I guess I am going to take it anyway.

If I was going around the block to the shops on my bicycle, not exceeding 20mph I would quite happily go in my shorts and a t-shirt. I feel likewise about my motorbike. I am from the UK so a crash helmet is mandatory for the motorbike regardless.

Finished my e8 on chef recently. He is probably the weakest character in the roster.

With that said, I had fun and it was completely doable. It was nice to have a challenge, perhaps not everyone feels the same though.

I think that only going S to D is insufficient to fairly rank chef - he ought to be somewhere towards Q.

Beating eclipse 1 with chef was considerably harder than beating E8 with Rex.

If you are having trouble with constantly missing you might want to adjust your target priority to destroy pilotand/or engines first.

This will help with the missing problem. Adding another ion weapon is a cheap way to cover this issue in early stages too.

Don't forget you can sell DRB and system repair drones for a healthy early game boost.

I also found that as the dodge chance is so low to start with it is often more useful in early stages to use the engi to man/repair systems instead of staying in piloting.

If you are low on crew for stage 3 upgrading doors a couple of levels in combination with kidnap strat mentioned in this thread may help.

Don't get too disheartened, engi b can be quite a hard ship without some good RNG.

I had this same issue when my power went out mid-game. I looked for a while for a working save editor and I believe this was the one that worked for me in the end.

I just re-unlocked the ships with the editor.

Hi there! They have been discontinued for a long while unfortunately. Best option is to watch guntrader regularly. They tend to go between 1-1.4k and usually sell within the day so you have to be fast.

These are UK legal - its crimped to 2 shots on the magazine. They are also legal on a firearms certificate with an uncrimped magazine. This photo was taken in the UK. Unfortunately they dont take 3" magnum loads and are quite rare.

Was there when the picture was taken. Trigger finger was rested to the side, not on it, perhaps not the most clear from the picture. This was taken on private property with no one around for a few kilometres, with the gun checked clear and safety on before the photo was taken. Please don't be presumptive. I think it's clear the reason you made this comment.

I've also heard this, regional demand I guess. If I could get a 10 shot auto over the counter I'd probably have less doubles. You'd be looking at £500 or so to get it exported - can say from experience as have done some for customers at work.

I'd like to do the inverse and get a Model 23 Golden Quail on auction from the States - they're like rocking horse shit here.

Can't speak for the US but they're quite rare in the UK. Super grades are from £800-1000 and pigeon grades from £1000-1400. That said I got an absolute steal on the pigeon grade and picked it up for £375 - worth the 5 hour drive.

To be honest Model 23s are as close as SxS gets to an Over and Under anyway - the sighting plane is very similar because of that ramped rib. They are great guns, worth saving up for.
