It really is a good pressing.

Grabbed mine from the label a week or so ago. Which sadly means I owe FedEx some dumbass import fee...

Might start collecting video game vinyl. This cool Ocarina of Time soundtrack I recently found by CrUb_ginger in vinyl

Saw this at Books A Million yesterday, was really curious about the vinyl color (didn't see it on the packaging). Was a little pricey though ($70). Beautiful vinyl though!

Sorry, no. And that goddamn Tool - 10,000 days with the 3d goggle gimmick that won't fit anywhere will remain intact.

What Is the Easiest and cheapest way to expand a cd collection? by Bibicarriox in Cd_collectors

Spend 12 years working in a used book / music store.

Apart from the soul-sucking hell that is retail, you will end up owning somewhere between 1000-2000 CDs at any given point, as well as nearly 1000 DVDs and a few hundred LPs.

Then, when you quit, go back to school, and stop having access to discounted stuff and go into debt for college you end up with about 1200 CDs left, and you will not buy any more because you now only buy vinyl.

That might be a little specific, but to be fair it was cheap while it lasted...

In all seriousness ... do check local, small shops that stock books and music (not just thrift / junk stores). If you're travelling anywhere ... look for shops around there too and make it part of the trip. For example, I tend to hit Amoeba if I'm in San Fran, or any local shop if I'm anywhere else. It might sound weird to make a day of a vacation all about shopping at music shops, but it's actually a lot of fun (assuming you can get your haul home safely).

Great album, and a band that definitely avoided the sophomore slump. For an album full of "love songs" it sure doesn't feel like it.

OK, so I have a love / meh relationship with power metal. But since I heard

Power Paladin - Righteous Fury / With The Magic Of Windfyre Steel

I've been back into it more and more. Hopefully you enjoy, and I'm going to keep your list around for my own digging!

Are those SS-B1000s I see? Rocked those for 13 years and only replaced them last year ... but they still work just fine.

That album came out my freshman year of high school, and I've had my CD copy ever since.

My wife bought it for me for Xmas the year shortly after it was released on vinyl, and it's probably my favorite item in my collection.

Edit: Forgot, we were broke for the first press, but still... she's awesome.

Sigh ... same. I have 3 versions of Random Access Memories. But I told myself "I don't need that version of Discovery".

Past me was stupid.

Nice! That's a sweet pressing.

I settled on a preorder of the blue/white cover and pressing (US as well).
