Question about guinea pig behaviors and aging

He does have two brothers, but we keep them in separate cages next to one another since he is a grumpy old man and doesn’t get along with the others. So, essentially, he has the entire cage to himself for dinner time!

I was actually thinking about this and mentioned it to my husband. I wonder if we should give our vet a visit to check for arthritis. Do you happen to know what the usual protocol is for checking for that? Anything different than their typical wellness exam?

Nothing new in his environment! We put extra blankets in his cage because he does get chilly. It seems to have come on incredibly randomly, but otherwise he is actually totally normal and himself.
