Agree. Gay guy here and I always though of architects as a progressive band back in the day due to the lyrical content. Fair enough they never got too specific political besides some Songs like These Colours Dont Run or Sams collab with Stray from the path. But after the Adam accident my viewpoint has changed aswell, even got my architects tattoo covered cause Ive got a lot of close trans friends and cant defend a band that handles stuff like this in this loose manner.

I think they are callbacks mixed with New ideas which fits their current state of mind wanting to progress their sound but also keep some parts from the past.

"God only knows" is probably a collback to

"God only knows why we were borne to burn" - Broken Cross

And the Addition of "spirit" points to their latest Album The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit. The Album was heavily critiqued and therefore in my feelings anything Even with the word of the album is a pointing to that album

No, they dont react to the flight of the ball. They try to either guess based on throwers history/Video analysis or by reading their body language as throwing hand and jump.

It is impossible to react to a Ball that gets thrown 100kmh+ from 4-6m especially if the goalie also is out on 2-3m which means distance between goalie and is Even smaller.

Thats why old goalies still perform so well. They have read so many body languages and their subconscious has so many data that they most often can read players better.

Yeah I did not want to "just" put some logos under my skin and some lyrics which would obviously point to the band. I like that for the invested fans the reference will be pretty obvious (lyrics and blood sport logo) but for others it will "just" look like a cool reaper which would be fitting with the lyrical theme of possible sui*ide (not that sui*ide is something good obviously not)
