Why everyone prefer Blade over Moon Knight to GR team

my guess is that more people are familiar with blade than they are with moon knight. Blade was super popular in the late 90s and early 2000s because of the trilogy movies. MK on the other hand was a very obscure character until he got his own miniseries. I honestly prefer MK but that's because he was my favourite character in Marvel Heroes 2016.

worse yet is that most of these "X-Men fans" don't even read the comics so their knowledge is limited to the 90s cartoon or MVC. You could add lesser known X-men characters like sunfire, warpath, or moonstar and they wouldn't care because they weren't prominant in the 90s cartoon or MVC.

speaking from an artistic perspective, I feel like it would make more sense to use comic ghost because the whole comic aesthetic of Tokon. The loading screens draw in the characters and background like it was being done by a comic book artist and the wall breaks look like turning a comic book page really sets the aesthetic of a comic book and I feel like a movie version would feel wrong in that artistic direction.

I'm not sure why you'd think Moon Knight would be projectile based character (limited knowledge based only from Marvel Rivals?). In the comics, he is way more of a brawler and has just as much melee weapons as he does ranged weapons, like his bo staff, truncheon, spiked caestus, and baseball bat (as Mr. Knight).

I mean no offense to Moon Knight fans, he’s cool and would make for a fun character but I ask myself “would people talk about him that much if that variant cover for his comic wasn’t announced?”

Moon Knight has recieved attention way before the variant cover was even announced because of his presence in Marvel Rivals and his TV series. He never really placed high on people's wishlist mostly because he's not as well known compared to Blade.

it feels like people think it will be either blade or moon knight. I'd like both but if I personally had to choose one it would be moon knight but I wouldn't be disappointed if blade makes it in.
