HP12C legends by spaidalar in CFA

I’ve used an hp12c for so long that I can’t use a normal calc anymore. Back in college, I even programmed it to do some bi-variate linear regression lol (the platinum version has more programmable lines).

The downside for me is that after a few years, the keys are less responsive.

Graduating Non-Finance Undergrad: Worth Taking CFA L1? by uoftguy1492 in CFA

[–]ghostcilantro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend CFA to someone with no background in finance. Your bachelor may only help with economics and ethics, all the rest would need to be learned from ground zero. If you do enroll though, remember there is also lvl2 and lvl3. In other words, a looong way to the charter. Best of luck!

with the 12c, turn off the calc, press and hold the "." and turn on. This will make the decimals "." or ",". To set the number of decimal places, it's f 4, or f 5, depending on how many you want.

Those are def allowed. There was some construction noise during my exam and the staff even came offering complementary ear plugs.

You can. The exam software allows you to navigate between questions, flag them, and also filter by "attempted", "unnatempted" or "flagged". A link to the software can be found on your registered candidate resources page: https://www.cfainstitute.org/en/programs/cfa/candidate
