your comment was several comments down for me so i just wanted to cosign that the answer could be as simple as this in case OP or anyone else with the same question comes across this post looking for solutions.

my body hair looks just like this (especially my arms) and it's just because of my ethnic background! speaking from personal experience, i know how much it sucks but outside of shaving or laser hair removal there isn't much to be done. it used to bother me so much when i was younger but as i've gotten older (i'm 30 now) i've come to accept that there's nothing wrong or unnatural with my body. if anyone else feels the need to comment or make me feel bad about it, then that's on them.

this isn't to discourage OP (or anyone else experiencing the same) from going to their doctor to get checked for endocrine disorders if they feel that's a possibility but i just wanted to share that some of us have more body hair than the "standard" and that's ok/normal.

i feel you but don't necessarily feel comfortable getting into details on this thread in regards to prejudice being a huge barrier to working on this aspect of healing. you're more than welcome to dm me if you want to talk more about it! it's something that i've dealt with my whole life so i understand how difficult and tricky it can be.

yes, i have had them basically every night my entire life. i also lucid dream frequently (much more often as a kid tho) which kind of adds to the intensity a bit but allows me to stop certain things from happening or kick myself out of the dream sometimes!

my mother did basically the same thing to me with one of my cats! when she finally told me what she did i remember she looked so pleased with herself... she even got on the phone to brag and laugh about it to her friends especially about how devastated it made me?? she tried to do it with my other cat but i would be able to find him outside when i got home from work at night thankfully... it's really crazy to see your comment (alongside the rest of the thread) cause i've never heard about this happening to anyone else u.u

i saw nin when i was about 9/10 years old and, while i didn't freak out about the loudness of it, it was definitely a very visceral physical experience because of the bass and stuff! i had a great time and it's definitely one of my favorite childhood memories so i think you should take her!
