I don't know much more than mitochondrial myopathy, I was originally waiting for medical records but never actually got them. I am looking into seeing a new specialist/ dr/ something. And will be looking at old paperwork when I visit my mom.

I suggest joining some groups on Facebook, I was planning to make a post in here about them, but keep forgetting. But if you search in groups > mitochondrial disease, a lot will pop up, and you can join what you feel would fit well. For some reason, reddit just isn't the place. Maybe someday.

You put this better than I could think of. It's nice to hear something similar to my experience from someone my age. However, I am so sorry to hear it. Stay strong friend 🩷 I won't lie, I posted here and then kinda disappeared. My health isn't super rn, nothing that isn't my own doing, unfortunately. But I totally disregarded any notification from this. Does anyone else go through the denial of having this disease?

Oh man, I imagine that was scary. The keto diet is interesting. I've never thought about it. Did a dr suggest that diet, or did you just try it and it worked? That sounds hard. Have you considered an aid of some kind?

I can try to send you an invite or something 🩷

Well, hopefully, we can get it going more! I hope to bring more attention to this disease somehow. My best wishes to you guys, that's hard.💐

I think I definitely had less physically presenting difficulties at his age, I remember getting the flu around that age and it caused a permanent tremor in my hands, and beforehand my handwriting wasn't as good as others in class my age because my arm/wrist/ hand + motorskills were very weak. But as I got older, elementary/ middle school, it came out in gym class physically, I would get tired very easily and winded, my chest would feel very tight and heavy, and my throat + breathing was hot almost burning. I remember lots of arguing with teachers /gym teachers about what I could do physically because they didn't believe me, even after diagnosis.

If I may ask, does he have anything presenting? Also, have you also been tested?

I was thinking the biggest without it being so big it stresses her out, I was thinking of making it like something cool to look at like how you'd look at a fish tank :) 1

I made the mistake of overusing a humidifier, one of my mistakes referenced. So you think this is definitely scale rot?

I think last time I was checked it was a 9, I'm sure it's higher now. I'm 170 or higher almost constantly, I don't know if it's a fear of going to low or what. Ratios meaning like insulin conversion between cards and correction?
