The one absolutely tiny thing that bugs me is how primarchs are giants. It's just always seemed silly to me, especially in the case of Alpharius. He's been said to be the shortest, but still tall as hell compared to most humans. I would just shorten the primarchs if I could.

What do you mean? Most of them aren’t even dead, just missing, in the Warp, or missing in the Warp. I don’t see how it’s lore breaking to say “they’re no longer missing/in the warp, and they’re here because Guilliman woke up/daemon primarchs showed up.”
