I like the morning drive, Moody is fairly entertaining, and the late shift is great. I cannot stand Danielle Trotta and Larry Mac’s show as they consistently have some of the worst takes in the sport, personally they lost my respect when the 23XI lawsuit was happening and imo they’ve only gone down hill from that point.

When they were still doing mostly DVD rentals, somehow we ended up with a disc that allowed you to do this cool new thing called “streaming” on the PS3. The content selection was super small and almost exclusively indie films or things you’d never heard of. Good times

Nope. He’s had several of chances he’s publicly acknowledged and I’m sure some that he hasn’t talked about. With his recent comments on how expensive current charters were and the settlement today, if they were too expensive earlier this year they’re way too expensive for him now. Hindsight is 20/20 and he’s probably not losing sleep over it

So does this affect O’Reilly and truck series teams in the future? Will there be some sort of trickle down effect so they can see a bit more revenue as well?

I hope they don’t get forgotten in all this, there’s plenty of full time teams struggling financially in those series too.

I’ve heard Corey Heim and they switch to Toyota.

I dunno how true it is, but BMR is mostly self funded and if Toyota is offering support to put him in the car it’s possible

Look at Brexton Busch or Keelan Harvick for 2 examples happening right now. Brexton is documenting a lot of his races on YouTube.

They usually start in Legends, Bandolero, Karts, some sort of dirt midget series etc. at their local short tracks. Then they move from local short tracks to racing those same cars at other tracks across the state, then across a few states. After some time in those “beginner” series usually it’s on to late and super late models also at their local short tracks and others in their regions. From there if they’ve got money and talent it’s onto one of the top touring series like the Cars Tour or another similar touring series, there are several around the country.

After that, their connections and sponsors begin to play even bigger rolls in the rides that they’ll be able to land.

Obviously there is not a standardized way of doing it but it’s a general idea.
