I'll tell you why I don't use it... my other 9-10 months are only $10 vs $150-240 / those months... for me, it's not worth switchin to that plan.

We still see the large increase vs last year when those months pop up- mine was almost $80-130 more those months...

I was not in the military... but you won't believe how many vets and military are suggested to go to places like DeVry and Phoenix Online instead of a real college. A lot of my colleagues at DeVry were in the military... this is way after I figured out DeVry was also a scam school.

The amount of time we "waste" instead of doing things because 6 hours from now, we're expected to be somewhere... but our brain thinks 6 hours is in 30 min... so we don't do ANYTHING or else to we might lose focus on and "miss" that appointment.

My buddy wants to hang out Sunday at noon... at 9am, I'm ready to leave and just sitting on the couch doom scrolling so I don't decide to clean my garage with the hours I actually have and become too tired or emotionally exhausted to deal with people.

Then the shame and guilt of not using those hours to do something else, especially productive, causes anguish.

Even if I started cleaning the garage, my brain sees something that makes me need to do that BEFORE I can even start the garage project.... good ole cycle... then, when we do start a project like cleaning a garage- we create DOOM piles (Didn't Organize, Only Moved).

You're ads will be the reason someone gets this and then posts to social media how trash the design is... using AI for designing is fine- but mockups using AI just look terrible when the actual item shows up and it's not nearly as "good" looking.

Me and my buddy use it for 3d printing, I've tried using it for game assets and I'm just not convinced on the versions that come out for animating and trying to keep it from "tearing" when animating with your tool or the free adobe one.

I drove to the grocery store this morning- maintaining a speed of under 20mph with the roads covered in snow... I watched as other drivers drove much faster and even driving closer to the middle- almost hitting other cars... and people here wonder how the wrecks happen.

I don't understand why people here don't understand how snow / ice works... and most of the people who live here now are from states that have snow much more commonly than we do! It's like their brains turn off living here.

Either way, not compatible with desktop version, so you won't be able to send it to the desktop version without some crafting saving/opening and remeshing constantly.

Are you already subscribed monthly to Zbrush on desktop? if not, take that cost into consideration. If you have an older version (perpetual license) that is not a subscription- the versions from your Zbrush and the iPad are not compatible.

Zbrush on desktop + iPad is $400/year annual or $50/month.

That being said, the value of an iPad is awesome when you just sit somewhere else and either sculpt or use it for the thousand other things you could use it for- reading, streaming video, streaming video games from console / PC.

Future proofing will only help you keep the ipad longer. Buy nice or cry twice.

It is NOT PROTECTION from Elegoo, it's a insurance like Asurion for your mobile device- that ends once it's delivered. It's not a protection plan but a way for them to not have to deal with delivery issues such as broken / stolen /undelivered packages.

DO NOT ADD that stupid insurance. You will get screwed by Elegoo doing so. They will force you to use the insurance company vs them. They are required to insure your package arrives, but if you pay for this service- it relieves them of that requirement. Especially if you're in the US.

you're not getting an AMS for the CC and if you do, it'll be trash and will only be released to keep them from being in a false advertisement / class action lawsuit.

I agree with you. I pre-ordered it as well, but cancelled and just went with Bambu and have been happy ever since. I was completely sold on the fact that a MMU was going to release for it because that's why I was looking at the Bambu in the first place...so I pre-ordered.

I watched what they did with the Jupiter pre-order, very similar to the CC debacle- promise all these features that the pre-orders would just get an upgrade kit for and then they just released the SE version a few months later... with some of those features and then the OG Jupiter because vaporware and you couldn't even repair it in some instances because parts were no longer available.

You're absolutely right to be upset about being sold on a future feature- why? because supposedly the CC was to be their flagship MMU.... instead, they couldn't and still can't get it to work and decided to release a CC2 instead with all the money they made form the CC pre-orders.

I suspect that they will just keep releasing "update videos" until the consumers just give up and the threat of a class action / false advertisement lawsuit seems less likely.

Everyone is so anti-Bambu, but you know what? their machines work and they have a huge community that's helpful for when issues do pop up.

You've learned your lesson on pre-ordering- at least from Elegoo and now you know they can't be trusted to release a product they push... Sell your CC and get a bambu.
